bm6
Hello! I'm really excited to get this project started. Been wanting to "troop" for a long time and finally decided to do it. I received the ATA Helmet last week and got started on it today. Oh, thank you to everyone on the FISD forums for posting build photos, tips, tricks and guides. What a wealth of information that is! All the parts: http://i.imgur.com/t2VmlAB.jpg http://i.imgur.com/IlzgfWB.jpg Cut the eye holes out: http://i.imgur.com/MS974RZ.jpg http://i.imgur.com/044kwCH.jpg http://i.imgur.com/CRzKirx.jpg That's all I was able to accomplish today. Will post more photos as I go. Any and all criticism is more than appreciated! I'm a noob with costuming so any advice is helpful. Thanks! -bm6

bm6
Started in on the nose portion tonight. Taking i t slow and easy with the "teeth". I saw several posts suggesting the small diamond files would be helpful when working in these small areas, so I ordered a set. First off, they were way smaller than I expected and secondly, I was amazed at how much material they can remove or not remove given their size. I only worked for an hour tonight but there is some progress. http://i.imgur.com/VF08D2X.jpg http://i.imgur.com/ZJY3kgz.jpg -bm6
illusionz_09[TK]
the files are more to clean them up. You should be able to get most of the cut-out of the teeth with an X-acto Knife. But at the end its with what you feel most comfortable with.
