Pizza Droid Posted March 26, 2016 Report Share Posted March 26, 2016 I plan on building an acurate Phasma costume, and to join the 501st Uk Garrison. I have done a lot of research. But could use some guidance on how to do this properly, so I don't get ripped off or mess it up. I plan on ordering a kit from jimmiroquai, and have joined the group on Facebook. The chrome is my biggest concern. I know that professional chroming is expensive, so I may look into using an airbrush and doing it myself. The hands are also somthing I'm unsure about. I know that their similar to 3po's, but don't know where to get acurate ones. Any help is aprectiacted, and hopefully I can start my build soon. pandatrooper[TK] Posted March 26, 2016 Report Share Posted March 26, 2016 You can check the c3po builders forum for makers of hands / fingers.<br><br> Chrome wise, you can airbrush Alclad II for the chrome and clear coat it. You can also use silver nitrate spray, more setup costs. Lastly, you could pay to have silver nitrate coating done professional or look into vacuum metal process (most expensive but shiny).<br><br> Phasma is actually a duller chrome finish which is easier to achieve. 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
