Hi, I'm planning on building both Captain Phasma and a ANH Storm trooper. I've done a lot of research on how to build Phasma and pretty much have that all figured out, but I'm a bit unsure about the Trooper. There is a lot of Stormie Kits out there, and I could use a little guidance on which would be best for me. I first thought about purchasing an Anovos kit, but I've heard that shipping to the UK is expensive. There's also the matter of it fitting me. I'm around 6 footish so pretty tall for a trooper, and as I'm a woman I would need some extra room in the thigh and chest area. I'm trying to keep the budget for the Trooper to a minimum, just enough for basic approval. Thanks for looking, and I appreciate any help or advice for either of the builds.

I plan on building an acurate Phasma costume, and to join the 501st Uk Garrison. I have done a lot of research. But could use some guidance on how to do this properly, so I don't get ripped off or mess it up. I plan on ordering a kit from jimmiroquai, and have joined the group on Facebook. The chrome is my biggest concern. I know that professional chroming is expensive, so I may look into using an airbrush and doing it myself. The hands are also somthing I'm unsure about. I know that their similar to 3po's, but don't know where to get acurate ones. Any help is aprectiacted, and hopefully I can start my build soon.

Thanks for the reply. I'm still working out my budget, I still have a lot of research to do. I'm thinking the whole suit will cost around £1000. I'm hoping that Phasma will be added to the Costume Refence library soon.

Thanks for the replys. Found a guy on TheRPF who's selling some pretty good kits, so I will probably get one once I've saved up. I still need to look into what kind of boots I need for Phasma, but plan on making my own gaskets. I all ready have a pretty good under suit, that I use for my Halo costume. So it's mostly just getting a kit. I now realise £500 was a bit low, so I think is going to be more like £700.

This is my first post here. I intend to make a Phasma costume that's 501st standard, and was wondering what would be the best option. I have worked with pepakura before, and wondered if that would work for an accurate costume. But buying a kit seems to be the better option. I would like to know if anyone has any advice on how I could build the costume. Or if there are any reasonably priced kits (£500 is the top end of my budget), and who to get in contact with to purchase one. Any info would be much appreciated
