Tandy and Anovos Line 24 snaps

So here's an interesting development. Left to right: Anovos, old Tandy, new Tandy.

 

So for the 3 exposed male snap backs (right side of ab, and butt-to-cod) on your armour, be careful. Anovos male snap back are small, but look right(ish), original Tandy look exactly right, and new Tandy suck and are pretty much unusable.

I just bought Tandy Line 24 snaps from a Tandy Leather store today and mine look like the middle snap....none of my snaps say tandy on them

The one on the right looks like the Antique Nickel finish. If you look at the photos on the Tandy website, the Antique Nickel show the text but the Nickel finish doesn't. Apparently the design of the Antique styles are different than the regular finishes. I believe we want the regular finish.

I just got my Tandy snaps from eBay and they are like the first post. They say "Tandy" in big letters. I might try direct too since I have 4 Anovos kits to build.

I received an order of the nickel plated snaps direct from Tandy. They have the text. They told me all of the new stock is like that.
