Pledford[TK] Posted February 16, 2016 Report Posted February 16, 2016 so I am doing the fitting of the thighs but they seem like they are a bit too long for my legs. In fact my kneecaps are under the armor. Do I trim the tops down? Quote
sylverbard[TK] Posted February 16, 2016 Report Posted February 16, 2016 Is that with the skin tight undersuit? If you cannot pull them higher and you cannot bend your knees , you'll have to trim the top. Quote
Pledford[TK] Posted February 16, 2016 Author Report Posted February 16, 2016 that is not with the skin tight undersuit. Quote
Pledford[TK] Posted February 17, 2016 Author Report Posted February 17, 2016 (edited) ----------- So got the 10 mm trimy on both sides which will give me 20 mm total for the cover strips. I installed the inside steps for extra support. The only "problem" is that my lines on the front didn't really match up very well on the shins. I'm guessing that after sanding and adjusting the back it will be fixed and no problem. It's not perfect as I am a complete newbie but have been trying to follow Navajo Bros AM build as closely as I can. Plus you guys on here giving feedback has been a huge help! Sly11[Admin] Posted February 17, 2016 Report Posted February 17, 2016 You need to test fit all your parts with the under suit on or you won't get the right feel .if in fact your thighs are too long, they can be trimmed from the top.draw with a pencil, following the shape right the way round the tops, if you think you need to take an inch off, take less, to be safe and re-assess. Don't worry about removing the return edge, as the screen worn suits basically didn't have them anyway. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk 2 Quote
