Does the 501st approve of FX Helmets if not what need to be done to bring it to he requirments

Hi Cameron and welcome to FISD. If you would like to try and get the FX helmet approved, you would need to replace the faceplate, the cap and back and the ears (AKA the whole helmet). FX helmets are no longer approvable. Stay away from anything FX as it is no where near screen accurate other then it is a white spaceman looking costume. Look in the getting started thread.

Here are our costume requirements for your basic stormtrooper:

It states that an FX helmet may not be used for a new approval.

 

Additionally it says:

 

Note: The helmet is accurate in detail and proportion to official references.

• Many commercially available helmets or those considered disproportionate in size or shape are ineligible.
