Professor Why
Hi, currently I am waiting for a new run of TKboots and in the meantime wanted to make a spare/backup/foreveryday pair of trooper boots using jodhpur boots as a base. However I haven't seem to find any recommendations or real pros and cons of what paint to use. my Instinct is to use spray paint or bottled acrylic. any recommendations? thank you! May the force be with you. Update: This forum is another great walk through of a beginner (Note: he uses acrylic leather paint instead of plasti-dip) http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/27114-dyeing-black-boots-white/ Edited September 9, 2015 by Professor Why
Holnave (evan_loh)[TK]
My boots are spray painted. Over time and trooping the paint cracks and chips off (just a little) and it give the weathered effect that very much reflects the one in the Tantive IV boarding scene. haui[TK]
You can buy a leather coloring spray for Exampel at Amazon
=Sv3=[TK]
From various threads, Angelus leather paint seems to be the best paint for this job. Here's a thread with a great tutorial on how to do it : http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/index.php?/topic/32499-My-New-Boots

Professor Why
Plasti-dip Looks fantastic. Would you use reflex or white?
