Brandon Posted July 17, 2015 Report Posted July 17, 2015 Hey all, Sold my old kit to a friend, and like me he is finding that the forearm pieces really pinch badly when bending the elbow. Are there common ways to trim the forearm to minimize this? I remember the overlap edge (its an FX kit so it doesnt use joining strips) on the forearms kind of stuck out too and catches the skin even worse when bending. Maybe he could trim that edge down and round it out? Quote

hon143 Posted July 17, 2015 Report Posted July 17, 2015 yeah....it just comes down to trimming as much as possible to avoid pinching. when i was working on my armor, i thought i trimmed as much as possible according to the tutorials here. however, once it was all done and i actually put everything on, i realized that i had to do A LOT of trimming to make it more comfortable, allow for more movement, and avoid pinching when walking or moving the arms.
