My calves are shimmed to the Nth degree, and I was just thinking if I could get a hold of a couple of extra calf pieces I could cut them and, since they are curved, they would work / fit better than the flat pieces I currently have on the backs of my calves. Darth_Nickel Posted April 16, 2008 Report Share Posted April 16, 2008 Be careful if you go the heat gun route. It's a long slow process to get the curve right for the calf. Actually it's a major pain in the butt.... or is it calf... whatever. Just go slow or you will warp your shim and have to start over. Be sure to get the exact fit you want BEFORE you glue anything it. It's even a bigger pain in the butt/shim to go back and have to heat again....
