megajelly
Hey guys thanks for taking a second to help. I'm a total noob and just starting out. Anyway, my questions revolve around belt conversion. I got a plastic ammo belt that came with an SDS kit. I am converting over to a canvas belt but need some advise. I removed the front ammo part from the plastic belt and I am having trouble getting the canvas attached. This is probably so simple. Basically my first rivets were to short (3/16 x 1/4) and pulled through the canvas. I added washers but its a VERY tight fit (see pictures). Then I got longer rivets but they are way too long and don't seat well. Any better ideas? I am using pop rivets. Are split rivets better? Should I even be using rivets? Thanks in advance! ---------- Edited January 26, 2022 by gmrhodes13 link not working removed
