Just trying to get a list together.

Newbie here getting started. I looked through the list of good armors and sent out a few e-mails, now I'm trying to put together a list of things I'm going to need once I decide.

 

For starters, a blaster and some of the electronics. I looked through the electronics forum, and I see a lot of references to mics, but no real tutorial on how to set them up--or what gear I need to buy. As for blasters, I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on where to look first. I assume that most of the armor kits don't come with one?

Armor kits usually come with the hard white plastic parts only.

There are many choices of building a blaster, depending on your time and skills

What kind of blaster were you thinking of? There are a few pipe builders here as well as plenty or reference pictures if you do it yourself. I provide both Pipe and Hasbro builds/parts if you don't want to bother with building one.
