tightlines Posted September 20, 2013 Report Posted September 20, 2013 I am almost finished with my TM build that I got from Paul. The problem I have is that that when I close up the ab plate with the kidney and but plate it is a bit sloppy. Is it ok to trim a bit off the sides of the ab plate? I will be applying for both EIB and Centurion and I don't want it to affect that. It is however about in inch or two sloppy. Any help would be appreciated. Tim Quote
troopermaster Posted September 20, 2013 Report Posted September 20, 2013 Why not just overlap the abdomen and kidney plates? I have seen skinny guys try to tighten the armour to their body instead of keeping the belt loose. I guess photos would help to see what your problem is. Quote
longboard8 Posted September 20, 2013 Report Posted September 20, 2013 enchiladas and peanut butter. Eat some. I'm kidding. Hope you find a good solution. Quote
The5thHorseman[501st] Posted September 20, 2013 Report Posted September 20, 2013 As Paul said you could try to overlap your kidney and abdominal plates. I found this pic to illustrate this: http://www.flickr.com/photos/stukatrooper/3567940515/in/set-72157602745743114 Thanks Stukatrooper! Quote
tightlines Posted October 2, 2013 Author Report Posted October 2, 2013 Outstanding! I got figured out. The belt helped a bunch to pull it in. The build is now complete and Paul you make some sweet armor my friend! Quote
