kaa1304[TK] Posted September 23, 2012 Report Posted September 23, 2012 Hello, looking for a little advice / clarification. The CRL for Centurion ROTJ TK shoulders states: Shoulder bells shall have foam padding inside. Does that mean a complete lining? And how thick? Perhaps someone has a photo that I can see? Thank you all Quote
sskunky Posted September 23, 2012 Report Posted September 23, 2012 Yeah, but I still think that it's not a full requirement for the foam. I believe it's only been spotted on one or two troopers and could well have been a personal mod for comfort in stunts etc.saying that it seems to be have taken on as being gospel that it should be included for centurion accuracy. Just a small block inside to push the bells out a bit is all that is needed. I don't think it should be mandatory but I don't set the rules. Quote
Darth Hilarious Posted September 23, 2012 Report Posted September 23, 2012 The padding may be handy to stop shoulder bells from rotating. As Mark says, all you should need is enough to make the shoulder bells look 'padded'. Hey, it was 1983, it was the style of the time... Quote
Locitus[Admin] Posted September 23, 2012 Report Posted September 23, 2012 I'm really not going to ask you to show me the inside of the bells. But you need to have the right look, and how you achieve this is up to you. Foam padding or otherwise. Quote
kaa1304[TK] Posted September 23, 2012 Author Report Posted September 23, 2012 Fair enough, cheers. I'll stop short of Hilary Devey. Quote
