DarkTrooper[TK] Posted September 17, 2012 Report Posted September 17, 2012 Can anyone point me in the right direction? I'm looking for a particular metal screen/mesh for finishing mic tips. The mesh that is available where I have looked is the one used for patching screen windows and doors but its the kind/type where it is made up of metal strands that are weaved. When I cut them down to size and attempt to insert them into the mic tips they get misaligned and even become unwoven. I have one helmet that has the screen/mesh that I'm looking for. It came with my ATA helmet. It is one solid piece not woven together. I'm looking for just the screen/mesh not the entire mic tip assemblies. I have plenty of those available. Quote
gazmosis[501st] Posted September 17, 2012 Report Posted September 17, 2012 I have a ton of what you might be looking for. I am sure others will chime in. PM me with your address and I will send you some and you decide if it's right for you. What I have is a sheet of metal mesh. one piece not woven. It is used to create shapes like mountains and hills for model dioramas. Quote
bobojuice Posted September 18, 2012 Report Posted September 18, 2012 Check your local smoke shop. I've heard they have screens that might work. Quote
