what if you could some how harden them up ?

I think that you would waste time, money and energy trying to change an elephant into a butterfly with this one. its just easier to buy one that is durable or make one from better materials.

I'd be cautious with something like that. What we want to achieve is accuracy and durability. I'm not sure what a paper prop coming from China may look like or what condition it may arrive in. I'd say you'd be better off investing that money into something that will last for years and looks great.

I second what Mark said. The effort to make it look good and cost of your time on a per hour basis you might as well get a nice hyperfirm.

i wish i could get a hyperfirm but im in aust and customs would seize any thing that may look lie a weapon :(
