TK5492[TK] Posted February 27, 2012 Report Posted February 27, 2012 After researching through the forums I have seen this done both ways... The CRL is not specific, it only states: A single male snap on the top right corner of the ab plate shall be present. most troopers look like they have the snap facing in or towards the body, but I have also seen it facing out. So, for once and for all: which way is correct? Has this ever been specified or is it personal preference? Any help would be awesome! Arigato! Quote
Beren[501st] Posted February 27, 2012 Report Posted February 27, 2012 If you are going for screen accuracy, then it should face inward. Quote
Locitus[Admin] Posted February 27, 2012 Report Posted February 27, 2012 It is meant to be facing inwards. It is connected to another hidden snap on the kidney plate to help keep the armour closed. Quote
TK5492[TK] Posted February 27, 2012 Author Report Posted February 27, 2012 Thanks for the quick replies guys. Don't know what I would do without everyone's help here. Thank you! Quote
Tray[TK] Posted February 27, 2012 Report Posted February 27, 2012 Exactly, both are facing in. The accurate way mounts through the ab plate. The nice clean way you would mount the snap to a small piece of plastic and glue on the inside of the ab plate. Quote
