DarthVeach Posted August 18, 2011 Author Report Share Posted August 18, 2011 @ TK 4702 - Yep I used masking fluid. Not my idea by a longshot! The talented people here and over at The Dented Helmet had threads talking about using masking fluid for their projects. I had never heard of this but did a little reading and it is cool stuff! It is basically a thin liquid latex that you paint on, let dry and then spray your top coat over it. When that is dry, you peel off the little chips and presto - instant weathering!
