Sonnenschein Posted February 1, 2011 Report Posted February 1, 2011 So, I have this resin mold, but there's plasticine all over it. Is there a wayto remove it? there are some cracks and nooks where I can't get it out. Any help is highly appreciated Quote

You were making new molds right? try spraying the finished sculpt next time with a clear sealer like Krylon Crystal Clear it will keep the clay from sticking in the mold. Sonnenschein Posted February 2, 2011 Author Report Posted February 2, 2011 Thanks everyone! Palmolive actually worked Its a 2-part mold, made out of resin... I could'nt use waterbased clay, as the PU resin would have been foamed up because of the water.. Quote

We got a new one because my wife found out that I put some motorbike engine parts in it. So I got to keep the old one to use as a parts washer. Those bike parts sure do come out purdy.
