Sonnenschein Posted January 28, 2011 Report Posted January 28, 2011 I just want to add that the matte painting in the back is just plain ugly. Quote
Billhag Posted January 28, 2011 Report Posted January 28, 2011 I love this scene,...two troopers just hanging out, chewing the fat,...wondering what's for supper tonight Have you noticed how high up those shins are sitting?, they're virtually at the top of the boots . Ohh, and Mr.Hailes will be pleased about this rare find of 'The Twisted Knee Trooper',...'coz he can now say that he is even MORE screen accurate then he already was Quote
SW1 Posted January 28, 2011 Author Report Posted January 28, 2011 So then Billy the shins were made for us short troopers yes i luv the way they are sitting so high plus i never noticed that before you said , and that photo of you and Gary thats the one that done it for me to get the TM and join the UKG , next time i see Gary i will call him Mr twisted shin screen acurate of course Quote
SW1 Posted January 28, 2011 Author Report Posted January 28, 2011 I just want to add that the matte painting in the back is just plain ugly. yes Karin no what you mean , all of the sceenery behind the field genarator that OB1 turns of was painted on glass then the image of OB1 and the genorator where put in but you might already know that Quote
Stormy320 Posted January 29, 2011 Report Posted January 29, 2011 Notice how low his brow trim is...like a Hero helmet. Quote
Rich330[TK] Posted January 29, 2011 Report Posted January 29, 2011 Have you noticed how high up those shins are sitting?, they're virtually at the top of the boots Absolutely. That's the first thing that got my attention. The shins/calves on my 1mm stuff, in combination with my new chelsea boots, do exactly that. I cut these pieces on my 2mm armour with a big overlap (no closure system) and I find they sit nicely over my ankles. It's probably because of the extra weight too. On my 1mm armour, because I was installing the hooks and elastic, I cut backs of the armour more to the "correct" circumference, i.e. with no extra overlap. Now, if I close them, they ride up just like those in the photo. Quote
Rich330[TK] Posted January 29, 2011 Report Posted January 29, 2011 OB1 Karin, Don't worry. I believe that's Steve's own abbreviation for referring to Obi Wan Kenobi. I don't think he's talking about female hygiene products! Why one earth he'd want to number them, I don't know .... Quote
