rikarus Posted January 11, 2011 Report Posted January 11, 2011 Working on a VT helmet, things are going great, but all snugged up and riveted the brow trim seems like it doesn't grip very tight against the brow plastic. Is it ok once the helmet is painted to tack it down in spots with a little glue? I don't see the need to pull it off once done, but wanted to hear some thoughts on this. thanks! Quote
sskunky Posted January 11, 2011 Report Posted January 11, 2011 there is nothing wrong with tacking it with glue. just a couple of spots is all that's needed. What trim are you using? the sealsdirect stuff should grip it ok without glue.... Quote
rikarus Posted January 11, 2011 Author Report Posted January 11, 2011 it's the trim that came with the VT, looks like the same trim TK-4510 sells. Quote
