New build threads

Recommended Posts

I was not sure where to drop this, so I figured this would be a safe place... I was thinking as a newbie, I post updates on my build with my garrison. I see all the great threads from the guys who have built numerous sets. Hwever, I havent seen any from us new guys up here, I was wondering if us throwing build threads up here also would be a good idea, would make it easy for asking for help, also suggestions could be given as to what looks like its right or wrong, or hey if you did "this or that" it would be good for your EIB, etc. I understand that my local garrison can help in many ways, but I was also thinking that a thread here from a rookie, would possibly have a little more "weight" so to say posted here, where everyone is a TK, not a mix of everything. Just a thought...

Hey Kirby,

Anyone here that wants to post their build it is cool, no matter if you are a rookie or a vet.. That is how we help each other.

If you are building a TE derived armor kit,( AP, TE2, ATA, etc.), just start a new build topic here:http://forum.whitearmor.net/index.php?showforum=36

If it is anything other than TE derived, such as TM, AM, etc., start a build topic here:http://forum.whitearmor.net/index.php?showforum=4

If you are doing a Heavy Weapons Trooper, start a build topic here:

http://forum.whitearmor.net/index.php?showforum=45

If you are doing a Stealth Trooper, start a build topic here: http://forum.whitearmor.net/index.php?showforum=52

If you are doing a Incinerator Troopers, start a build topic here: http://forum.whitearmor.net/index.php?showforum=54

If you are doing a Stormtrooper Commanders, start a build topic here: http://forum.whitearmor.net/index.php?showforum=39

Etc......

Look forward to seeing your build, man. Have fun with it! :D

Actually, I'm wondering if we should just create a separate forum strictly for build threads.

As Tom mentioned, anyone can post one. In fact, new people creating them is always good. It validates what we know, allows people to help out, and it's not uncommon for someone new to discover a new way of doing things.

I can agree with that.. As I said I have learned a ton from bouncing around in the forums on here, little something from one, put it with something from another.. I really believe if it wasn't for finally starting to get involved and both reading and asking questions in here.. I would still looking at my big brown box full of plastic scratching my head....Of course I still stare at my armor at times scratching my head, but at least its in the middle of working on something now. Guess I need to get a thread up with what all I have done so I can get some good constructive crtiscism and get this armor done in the near or not so near future.. However long it takes...

Post your progress mate, it's all part of paying the knowledge forward. I dunno what i would have have done without the wealth of info others have posted on here and my local forum. Its amazing.

I agree, a separate section would be ideal as it would really make searching faster.
