Choosing armor

I'm in the process of choosing what armor kit I want. I was looking at Imperial Armor as it is pretty close to where I live. Just wondering if anyone has one of these kits and what they think about it, $800 is alot of money and I want to get the best armor I can.

Hey James - I'm just north of you. Dan is a very talented artist with a long reputation of quality. However over the past year his deliveries have really slipped out, and people have had to wait a looooong time. Since you're more local perhaps the same won't happen to you, but you should at least be aware prior to spending $$$. Also, we've not really seen his kits in volume or on various troopers, so I'm afraid I really can't provide much guidance on what to expect for how it will look. Perhaps someone knows more than I, but this is the best info I have so far.
