Seals Direct "S" question

Ok, I'm sure this has been asked before but for some reason I am not having any luck with my search fu today. I just received a bunch of neck trim from Seals Direct, my question is simple, do I need to trim part of the "S" off or does the extra part of the S make a nice edge inside the helmet?

I just kept the original form of the bottom seal, and just put the top part of the "S"

inside the helmet, with most of the seal inside the helmet.

 

I would not cut anything.

 

just make the seal flush across the bottom with the rest up inside and you'll be fine.

 

couple dabs of e-6000 at 4 points around allows the seal to be removed at a later date.

 

that's what I did.

Don't cut anything just pop it onto the bottom of the helmet.

Thanks guys I was hoping that was the answer! So many helmets I have seen with a "U" shaped trim that I thought maybe it was supposed to have part cut off.

Well, if you go ESB with your helmet, you have to cut it off to be screen accurate.

Ah, that may the difference I was thinking about. Nope, mine is ANH.
