D-ring - is it a requirement for EIB (ANH)

Recommended Posts

The list of EIB requirements makes no mention of a D-ring on the blaster but I just wanted to check whether or not it was necessary.

I have a really nice resin blaster (with D-ring, without Hengstler) for my ESB but I have also quickly put together a Hasboros/Doopydoos conversion for my wife's ANH. The armour meets with all the EIB requirements as far as I can tell so I figure when she signs up she might as well go EIB.

And if the blaster doesn't necessarily need a D-ring, I won't bother.

This is what it currently looks like ...

Sonneshein sells the, or you can actually make your own from a metal coat hanger and some paint.
