    Over two years since the last post - I wonder what happened? An SE/tour helmet would have been a very cool thing to have too... Pity!

    A bit late in the day - the strap appears made from white PVC covered fabric, - the sort of PVC material is used to make fake patent leather shoes and naughty ladies underwear. The "ribs" have been stitched in.
