oi oi only me, ur friendly maybe anoying newb just about to start trimming up the rough edges that dont match up to good. better to tape and mark with pencil then trim? Sorry to be asking so many questions but i dont wanna bodge this up.

i got a reply to saying "Hello Mark, I found your email at last with all the pictures. I had over 300 unread in my inbox. What I see in the pictures sent to me is really bizzare! I have assembled 3 of the helmets myself from this batch of material and evn though they are a tight fit they are not like yours. The ones that I have assembled are a tight fit. The are trimmed just right, they dont give any margin for error. I will assemble 2 more helmets tomorrow. I will see if the same problem occurs. All of the plastic parts should be identicle. There should be no gap like what you have showed me. " then he waffles on a bit "Yours is a case that need further investigation. If it cant be resolved then i will refund you your cash or I can send out a new helmet to you it is upto you" so i've ask for him to send me a new one. we'll see what happens i'll keep u informed. On a better note i started get get some tools together today so i start to trim some peices up (not gonna mod anything thing yet), think i picked up a barging from woolies of all places. had a quick retape doesn't make much differnce there's a massive over hang.

just had a look at the rest of the armour apart from the o2 canister which is a bit hit n miss (ment to be grey or white?needs painting?) the rest of the armour doesn't look too bad apart from a bit of trimming that i will need to do on the top of the shins to match them up. Hope to be going off to b&q on friday so hopefully i'll have somthing done by the weekend. Dremmel tool good investment i take it. feel a bit gutted about the helm. but we'll have to wait n see if seller gets bak to me.

i had alredy sent an email but no reply as u can guess.. so i'll send another one just to make sure. Guess i'll have to make a start on the body see what problems this brings.

ok heres the pic with the ear peice roughly put on -----

nope no dimple on either the sides of the mask or the ears so i can see this being a pain for me i did try with the ear peices on and you can see the gap i'll retape and and a take a pic.

as i said in a pervious post that there seems to be some what of a gap between the face mask and the bak of the "flower pot" as u can see it not the smallest gap. So here's a solution if i bring the face plate bak and over lap the rear Image unrecoverable... and then rivet an glue the ovlerlaped peices would this work? and could u notice that it had been done. (i.e does it make the bucket look abnormal)

as im on a real tight budget i bought the armour with no frills, just armour some real crappy decails which im not gonna use and some dodgy tinted smoked lenses which are emmmmmm as good as the decails.

Have to say kids scince the twins were born 3 months early we've had our hands full with all sorts of difficulties recently they were diagonised with cp, which was quite uopsetting as they've been thought enough all ready in their lives but i'm sure we'll manage any problems that come our way. Also play about with computers. Other Hobbies and such? Collecting the medicom deformed figures and the hasbro Galactic heroes but only the figure from A.N.H , E.S.B and R.O.T.J Married or Not? hello all, as u can see buy the number of post i have made i'm a newb So heres the thing i now have my armour in a big box looking all clever on top of the walldrobe, due to being on a relly tight budget (only working part time) i went ahead and bought a set of the most popular armour with the oversized "flower pot" as you all seem to like to call it ( in time i hope to replace it). I have done loads of reserch on what diffent glues and ways of putting the armour together but still not sure what item's i'll be needing when i pop down to B&Q, so as most of you know what ur doing i was wondering if u could give me a "shopping list" of products that would help me to complete this task. Whoooo now wasn't that long winded....... I had a play last night with the bucket taping it together with some good ole masking tape to get a feel of it but theres a big gap down each side where the face mask and bak should meet i'll get bak to you on this matther as i think i can work this problem out. I post later on to see if u agree if this will work. Thx for all your advice in advance and for letting me ramble on for so long.
