  1. Hello there. I finished building my AP helmet a few years ago, and now wanted to modify away the lump in the right eye. I didn't heat it for very long, and the eye turned out pretty good, but unfortunately the forehead was warped. I didn't heat it for long, but since I didn't have much money at the time I bought this helmet, I bought a flawed kit for half the cost, so my helmet had a very thin forehead. I asked the AP guy for a new helmet back, but he didn't have any around and couldn't start up his machines for just that part. Maybe he will make me one when he starts his next batch. If I am to fix this helmet, and I would preferably do this, then I would either have to bondo the whole thing and paint it, but would probably have to paint the whole thing to get it to match. The paint would probably chip off too. Or second would be to make a plastic welding paste using plastic scraps and acetone. It's a pretty big defect now that I tried to fix it and it only got worse from that, so if anyone have tried to fix an area that big, please let me know how you did it and how well it went. Thanks. -Dark Side Sith Lord.
  2. Hehe, where the fudge did you find that name? It's one of my many names anyway, so works. Good luck with the build then, I'm glad I got your feet wet enough to start building some cylinders then
  3. That's a pretty good template you made there, I'm glad those measurements came of good use then, and cool to see my callsign on it too Too bad my next E-11 won't have cylinders on it when there's a template with my callsign on it out now
  4. Very good. I was just going to tell her to get an AP helmet or something since those are smaller than the FX, but I'll look into the MRCE then. I do have an AP helmet here that she could try if she doesn't find a MRCE to see if that would fit too.
  5. Let's put it this way then - I'm a horrible person and uses words like boobs and all, and I'm a horrible person in general too, but I don't give a rats backside if a woman wants to wear regular Stormtrooper armor, good for you, you like Star Wars and Stormtroopers, that's good in my book. So to every Stormtrooper woman sitting infront of their monitor and wants to kick me in the nads because you think I have something against you - I don't Alrighty then, now I'm just waiting for a reply from my friend, and we might put together some armor soon if she wants help from me to do so. I could need some Stormtrooper tuneup myself.
  6. Oh yes, that's the one Thanks for the link, will check it out now. The chick who will wear this is currently doing some military stuff or something, so she's ready to kill Jedi and other scum, so it should be good.
  7. I guess so, but a chick with Stormtrooper armor will look better with a boobplate instead of a guychestplate, I think, and she wants a boobplate too
  8. Good evening. A friend of mine wants to have a set of Boobtrooper armor that has been seen around on the internet, but neither of us know where to look for it, but I'm sure someone in here can put us in the right direction. Thanks. Dark Side Sith Lord.
  9. Excellent. Thanks for the measurements. I'll be modifying my thigh armor to this size soon then, will probably look much better than what they look like now.
  10. BUMP! HUMP! FOREST GUMP!
  11. Hello. When I got my FX armor kit, I got the new thigh armor type that is much bigger than the original. Since I was pretty much skinny back then (now too, but not that much), I didn't really know what size to trim them to since I wanted them to fit me in the future when I get bigger. I know that there was an old version of the thigh armor that was smaller, but I don't know what the size of these were, so if anyone has the original thighs for their stormtrooper, could you please post the size of them when assembled? I need to fix my thighs to be smaller before an event this saturday. Thanks. Dark Side Sith Lord.
  12. Hmm, perhaps we should just ask Mr. Lucas?
  13. Hmm, undersuit, perhaps perhaps. I guess you have a point, but I don't know if it will sound "cool" in my website "The Assembly Of The Undersuit" Perhaps
  14. In my opinion, I think Under Armor sounds like an armor that you wear under something else, rather than something you wear under the armor, and you all know the black tights don't work that good as armor, but I don't know. I guess I'll go with "Bodysuit" for my website then. Thanks for all yer help.
  15. I sort of like Bodysuit now. Is Bodysuit at least better than Jumpsuit? To me Jumpsuit sounds like something that is made out of synthetic material and is very baggy, like an X-wing fighters suit, and Bodysuit sounds more like the explanation of what it is - When worn, it really does look like a body afterall since it's skin tight. Should I change my website page to "Bodysuit" then? Thanks. Dark Side Sith Lord.
  16. Hehe, yeah, pretty much Perhaps there should be a vote? It would be nice to have an "official" name for it.
  17. Hehe, even more options, and yeah I thought afterwards that Under Armor was a brand. I'll add these all to the list then. Bodysuit sounds like it fits pretty well too in my opinion. The other funny ones were just added to have them all there
  18. Good evening. I have a question for you all. In my website, I have put up a page about my Stormtrooper costume, and have various pages in it named whatever costume elements are in there, such as "The helmet", "The armor", and so on. I have a page currently set up as "Jumpsuit", but I'm not really sure if jumpsuit is the correct name for the black tight thing worn by troopers. I've seen so far - "Jumpsuit" "Undersuit" "Bodyglove" "Underarmor" "Underoos?" "Bodysuit" "Dance Leotard" "Unitard" "TK Skivvies" So which one is it? Undersuit is sort of my new favorite now and sounds the most right in my opinion. I'm not really sure what a jumpsuit is either so... Thanks. Dark Side Sith Lord - TK-1823
  19. I see that too. It appears to be cropped where the edge of the armor is going, but why was it cropped? Perhaps thats a real old photo of him and he just cropped a Stormtrooper armor over himself and made it all look old? Hmm, story appears wierd to me too, so here's some questions - He said that it was made of fiberglass, then the story goes that he took it off to go to a hotel, then saw someone with a camera, and you may know that putting on this armor takes some while, and the people with cameras were still hanging around? Were they people working at the stage that had cameras, or did they let tourists in at the stage where the armor was? Hmm, he left the studio wearing this? If someone "just took his photo" why is he standing against a dark brown background with no detailing asif he's at a photographer and the armor looks cropped into the photo? If this is the costume that he wore all the time in the movie and said that he took this same armor back on after the photo guys appeared, why have I never seen such a wierd looking armor in the movies?, and why doesnt the armor look like the one in the black/white photo which is supposedly him? Also if that photo was taken of him in the studio or something, wouldnt it be black/white as well? Did he know these people and got that photo from them somehow after it was developed, or did they give him a color polaroid for letting them take the photos? Sorry about the many questions, I'd be damned it this was true though...
  20. Wow, you really think so? Thanks very much Perhaps I will use this scope idea on my next blaster, I will need an EpV E-11 for my Snowtrooper soon. Looking forward to seeing your blaster
  21. Aww, the one I made sucks now... That looks really cool, I wish I could replace mine, but I have bondoed the lens to the scope, darn. Maybe one day, or the next E-11
