  1. They classified our records, no idea why....
  2. Wow, I've been inactive for three years, and they kept my number and my brother's! How sweet! lol He's TI-5183, been inactive for about 2 years.
  3. When I was doing AT-ST back in '03, no one knew who I was, some little boy asked "Is he a janitor on the big planet ship?"
  4. I wear 11W combat boots, are the CABoots tight in the width?
  5. By day (well, I work nights) I am a US Air Force Security Forces Armorer. My first hobby was Paintball, which I did for about 5 or 6 years, then got into Airsoft. After doing Airsoft, I started doing WWII Reenacting. I was still an Airsofter and WWII Reenactor when I got into the 501st in '03 I think. I moved to PA and went inactive from the 501st due to my getting sent to Germany, and sold my AT-ST pilot's costume. I bought a set of Snowtrooper Armor with the intent to troop over here in Germany, but due to our deployment, training, and day-to-day schedule, was not able to complete it (never got it started). So I now have 4 more months left overseas, and wish to sell my Snowtrooper armor to get a set of Stormtrooper Armor, which is what I REALLY wanted since I joined. My brother is also in the 501st and portrays a TIE pilot. I am still a WWII Reenactor (German Fallschirmjager) and own two 1935 Zundapp DB200 light reconnaissance motorcycles. Been married to my wonderful wife for goin' on three years, no kids. My wife is an avid reenactor as well (Civil War civilian) and we both now do WWII, Civil War, and Rev War. She does not understand my love of Star Wars, but accepts it as long as I don't spend too much money.
  6. Thanks!
  7. Are there links to the above helmet makers?
  8. Roger that! Thanks for the advice!
  9. My kit doesn't come with the helmet
  10. I always thought that way, too... Jango dies kinda... un-heroically
  11. --------- URL for front-facing photo
  12. Has anyone seen the helmet on Collector's Gallery? I posted a link to it under my "preassembled" topic... I know it probably isn't 100% accurate, but is it good for a beginner TK until they can get something better?
  13. Cool armor, there Commander I'm SERIOUSLY thinking of just "doing it"
  14. Well, I should be alright then I am still overseas, and provided I can find the parts, I can work on it prior to going stateside.
  15. SWEEEEET! pardon my TK newness... the ATST pilot in me is stubborn! As for helmets, for a first-timer, would the "FX Stormtrooper helmet" on Collector's Gallery be correct?
  16. My wife doesn't understand my love for Star Wars, but is ok with it (as long as its not expensive), so that's my trouble with this whole armor/helmet issue!
  17. Well, here's hoping I have the time/patience, lol Would you say... I'd need less or more time trimming and setting up a set of FX than cutting out a set of Snowtrooper armor out of plastic, prepping, painting it, and THAN assembling it?
  18. I'm a "skinny" 150 lbs
  19. I was looking to get some FX myself, but I'm told FX isn't good for people of our height... So, I don't know yet. Plus, I don't know about putting together a helmet, I'd rather buy a good one already completed.
  20. Just did, PM and EMAIL sent!
  21. I KEED I KEED! Lol I'm too tall for an Ewok... Jawa maybe, lol or they the same height?
  22. Well, I don't know about MEPD, but my contact sells his for 350, no helmet... my buddy says it doesnt have the rest either, just the body armor
  23. I think the armor I am looking at is made by a guy in MEPD (my buddy who is a Sandtrooper recommended him). If it doesn't require a lot of work, I may actually buy the armor (once I sell off the Snowtrooper armor). It didnt come with boots, undersuit, holster, blaster, helmet, or gloves... so, its just armor, lol
  24. I don't plan on getting an FX helmet. I don't know what helmet I'd get or from where...
