  1. Marv's and your track is not accurate to what was used on the original props. Fact. This is not a matter of opinion. Mine is perfectly accurate as I've personally compared it side by side to actual screen used track. And no I didn't make mine using photos as reference, I had access to actual track. Nothing personal, but no one besides me offers perfectly accurate t-track. What good is a found item t-track if it does not have the proper color or proper proportions? Marv's is good if you are not really concerned with accuracy and want something that is more economical. Mine is like having the real deal. .
  2. There should be absolutely no question that this armor was recast from RS. Recast and in my opinion poorly cleaned up.
  3. Working on it. Btw that's the prototype we've shown at sdcc and nycc.
  4. Iconic Star Wars IV ---------- .
  5. The Dave m helmet was never molded, only the ears. The rest was laser scanned.
  6. I have no dog in this fight, but there should be no question that is an RS recast.
  7. As far as my involvement goes, here are some corrections I see: - There was only one set of original ROTJ molds (molds taken from the inside of the original parts) and I still have them. There were not multiple sets of original molds. Anything that came out of TE in terms of molds (other than the original ones I have) were reworked copies and not originals. - Dan Laws did not use the original molds but rather used old vac formed pulls from them, then combined them with some tour suit parts and reworked old GF parts to create what would go on to become TE2. - Nothing was molded off the Dave M helmet other than the ears. I got a duplicate set of these molds to combine with my Brian R molds. - I kept the only intact (mostly) unaltered version of the Brian R helmet molds (which were mold duplicates). The originals that were sent back to TE were altered to remove certain details and severely damaged from so much use. These altered/damaged helmet molds were later sold to TE2.
  8. Thanks Trevor for being a 'trooper' and doing such a great job of modeling the armor for us! .
  9. Not sure. Prob at the next show. Not sure what or when the next show is.
  10. That's just how they were on the original suit we used.
  11. Thanks Anthony! We still need another 1-2 people to fill in time gaps.
  12. Hey FISD! EFX is looking for a few people to model our Legend Stormtrooper Armor at our booth at New York Comic Con this week. Looking for someone who is 5'10"-ish and skinny. If you are interested, contact me directly at [email protected] and be sure to leave your phone number so we can coordinate. Would be great to have someone in the suit for all 4 days (thurs - sunday) so just let me know which days you can make it. Hopefully we'll get enough people dressing in shifts to keep a person in the suit all day for all 4 days of the con. Also, it might be a good idea to bring your own body suit otherwise you'll have to share the EFX one (which could get a little sweaty) lol. .
  13. No not everything. And it is awesome when I'm free and clear to show stuff because I find it super exciting and love seeing people's reactions who feel just like me about it. I just sucks that it's not that often that I get to. Just comes with the territory. I can say this. I've seen and handled a good portion of the screen-used original props that use this t-track. Some in private collections, and some in the LFL archives. And all of it was the exact same stuff. For those that don't already know, the t-track was used on all versions of the OT sabers (except for obi wan and luke rotj), also on the sterlings, boba fett's rotj rifle, and a little piece on one of Han Solo's guns. .
  14. Posting stuff like that publicly sometimes is ok, and sometimes it is not ok. This is one of those times when it's not ok. I would suggest that if you have doubts then you should just not order from me. No one is forcing anyone to do anything. .
  15. Locitus, you (or anyone else) don't have to take my word for it and that's totally your choice. I invite anyone to do their own comparisons between all the available t-tracks and the screen-used stuff and draw their own conclusions. Just FYI, I don't have a problem with marv, saberfreak and I don't look at them as competition in any negative way.
  16. Just for the record, the only t-track available anywhere that has the correct shape, proportions, color, and materials is the stuff I had custom made. Fact. Yes I've had access to screen used track to ensure that the stuff I made was correct. Yes, I've handled a large amount of the screen used original props that use t-track on them and it's all the same stuff. There is other t-track out there from other people that is available especially for those looking for something less expensive, but it is also less accurate. So it's a trade off. Everyone is free to make up their own mind on what to buy based on their needs/budget. Just so long as they are informed about what they are buying, I think it's great for there to be options. .
  17. Have you ever had one of mine in your hands untrimmed? Here's a pic of mine to show what they should look like. .
  18. This in incorrect. The 'flashing' you see in the eye sockets have nothing to do with how shallow the eye sockets are. It is more about their shape. Ask anyone who has one of my V2's or V3's and they can vouch for it. Also, I cannot speak to the other TE lineage helmets, but my helmet sockets are quite perfect and definitely not too small. I have helmet kits in the for sale section for anyone interested. .
  19. Just click on the link in my post above. It has all that info plus more.
  20. Here is a link showing mine. I would say there is a significant difference between mine and the TE2. ---------- .
  21. As I said, it's all cast from original. I'm not going into detail about exactly what came from where because I can't. To say the parts aren't accurate is not only wrong, but ironic. I'll be posting more pics soon so until then...
  22. Here's an x-wing helmet compilation I put together to illustrate the different styles used in the films. I'm sure that not all of them are accounted for in this comp, but it should have most of the important ones represented. Hope it's helpful for those who aren't x-wingnuts. .
