  1. Thank you everyone!!! Now I need to figure out updating sig, downloading that image that was posted. I’m certain I saw a thread on the topic somewhere. And if I’m supposed to to notify my squad of the achievement. And back to trooping!
  2. @DoggydocAll good? What’s next step?
  3. @Doggydoc Here you go. Hope this does it. My photographer is threatening to quit.
  4. @DoggydocHere are updated photos after making the corrections and showing a better fitted abdomen plate. Hopefully this addresses and resolves the concerns.
  5. Appreciate the heads up. Family first! … I’m in no rush or hurry.
  6. Appreciate the feedback and I’m looking at how I can make these corrections. That said, I’ve just gone back and looked over the CRL level 2 criteria and don’t actually see any of this specified as required. Is this level of detail indicated elsewhere? https://crls.501st.com/fisd/stormtrooper-a-new-hope-stunt

  8. Requesting access so I could submit for EI approval. TK-15401 of Florida garrison https://www.501st.com/members/searchresults.php?searchfield=15401&criteria=tkid

  10. Thank you gmrhodes. Did the link to full resolution images not work? Sadly this forum only allows total of 512k for all images posted so I’m unable (unless you’ve any tips) to post larger images directly unless I provide fewer photos, hence the link. I am posting from mobile if that matters. Can you explain differently: Adding elastic to the inside of the boot and shin can hold them down when moving and stretching (or velcro)
  11. Hello everyone! Hoping my first attempt goes without too many issues and hope I can even submit to 501 with these photos! My goal is base but I’d consider higher levels if not too much extra effort is needed. I reviewed the CRL and think I could achieve this. I’m working on 3D printing and assembly of a E11 blaster but not ready for perhaps a month, and I’d read it isn’t a required component for 501 approval. 12. I’m starting up with a ANH Stunt, first ever costume. I’ve been 3D printing a E11 to go with it and hope it’ll be sturdy enough. I’m probably less a cosplay enthusiast (never been to an event) but more interested in the charitable side… showing up to benefits or events for kids. I’m looking for other nearby TKs. I’ve found the Makaze group, but it seems to me mostly Mandos. As I’m getting ready to submit to 501 I’m also hoping to find anyone local who might help/guide with my wearing and suggestionsfor approval. Yes, I know I can submit photos here for pre approval feedback and likely will. But thought local would also work on the chance someone is nearby. L
  13. I only just saw your reply and I’ve printed all the parts from this model using ABS. I went with the version that has the center barrel and grip frame as one piece. I’m just starting to sand so perhaps now I should see if I should use a variation to install a pipe, but I wonder if that would effect use of the steel spring I created. Thoughts?
  14. I’ve seen models/plans that indicate a wood dowel or such is needed to add rigidity especially if used for trooping and not primarily as a display. Is that the case for this build? Planning to undertake my first build but want to use for trooping also.
