  1. Awesome job!!!! j
  2. Thanks Paul! jack
  3. I agree with you that the flower rivets are larger on the original - but without knowing the size of the regular rivet - these could either be too small or the correct size (and we are all just using too large of a regular rivet). I look forward to your post when you get them. I personally think ever suit did not have these type of flower rivets - the costumer just grabbed and used what was at hand when assembling the costumes - or they could have been replacements for rivets that got damaged some-how and fell out. I was actually looking for the regular type when I ran across these and just thought I share them with you guys. I know alot of people like these variations but I prefer the way it was probably originally intended to be assemble: To me these type of variations are like the Stormtrooper helmets in ANH that are missing the "Tube Stripes" or "Brow Trim". Thanks, j
  4. The round rivets on my TM armor are 5/16 of an inch - or a hair bigger than 1/4 of an inch (which these "Flower" rivets are). Either these are just a little to small or the round rivets that TM puts on his armor are slightly to large. I can't answer that one without an exact measurement of both the original rivets used on a set of ANH armor. That being said - I think the pattern on the top is correct - maybe at one time they made this rivet was made slightly larger or maybe the guy who measured them for the website did it quickly and saw 1/4 of an inch when in reality it's really 5/16 of an inch. j
  5. 7/16 or 9/16??? That I don't know - I leave it to one of the experts to come in and give the correct answer. j
  6. Hey Guys, I found this link to a site that sells what looks like to me the same type of "Flower" rivet that was sometimes used on the closed side (left side) of the ANH Stormtrooper ab plate + lower Back plate of armor. Here are some photos. Here's a link to the website I saw them on: http://www.brettunsvillage.com/leather/parts/rivets.htm Jack
  7. I found a place in the U.K. that sells the 10 round mag. but they will not ship them out of the country j
  8. Could you show or email me a picture of it (10 round mag) attached to the gun. thanks, j. [email protected]
  9. Hey Guys, I have an original Sterling with it's magazine that I'm converting into a ANH E-11. I was wondering how far should the clip extend out of the gun when the clip is locked in place. I was looking at: http://sterlingblasterconversion.blogspot.com/ But he seems to be extending it out a bit too far - Can someone confirm the correct length? Also, I understand there were probably several lengths because some could fire blanks and other could not - but I'm looking for the set up that could fire blanks - if that means it would be longer. Thanks, jack
