So, the Kama is now red? Not dark burgundy ?? The borders on the quilted panels do look lighter, but the leather panels look have same color borders. My Kama is basically made. Need to add the leather, make a few adjustments. But a color change is huge. It definitely looks to be dark burgundy, not red to me.

How close are we to getting the CRL done/approved/published? We still need a model?

Laying down the gold leaf carefully does make difference in its appearance, then placing wax paper over it & rubbing it with a cloth using small circles helps get rid of ugly wrinkles, For a sealant to keep it from tarnishing over time use Mod Podge, then I put a coat of gloss clear. Wish I could show you a pic but I have yet to figure out the damn secret to that. IMGUR isn't co-operating.

We have the photo of the right side ( holster side) of his belt - but are there any good photos of the left side - past the raised section?? And it looks like the bottom edge of his chest armor is smooth with no curl/ return edge.

Yes, that's it. Only use gold leaf for the face and large areas on the helmet. , not paint, and the cracks can be done with the Liquid Gold paint.

There is a video on YouTube, by Galactic Amory on how they painted the helmet. They tell you what paints they used and it is a screen worthy helmet! Sorry, I don't have the link, but it's call MAKING AN ENOCH THE ROCK JOHNSON HELMET. They show the printing, and then the painting. AND its Enoch, not Johnson that they focus on.

Considering there aren’t many photos of the grip for people to replicate, will that be a factor in approval? Definitely gold, tho and not white. But the design itself? Definitaley not paying $300 for a blaster.

Hi everyone, I noticed the holster belt width is not listed. I think it would be a good detail to add to the CRL. It’s hard to just eyeball it, but it looks about 2 1/2” wide.

Hi, I'm Dana. I'm a female who has started the build and didn't initially want to go for approval, but I think it'll be a challenge. Just going over the CRL and I see I need to change a few things already. Removing the screws for the ammo pouches, and different boots. I'm interested in a voice changer if anyone has suggestions. Thanks!
