  1. Hey Kaleb - welcome! I have been in a very similar position, but trust me - there's so much help on offer to get you where you need to be. First question - what part of the world do you live in? We can help connect you with your local Garrison if you're not sure. Your local garrison might also have a mentor program that can help you with your build and application. As stated above, there's also different versions of the classic stormtrooper - each with subtle difference I hadn't really noticed until I got stuck into this. Your armour may closely align with one particular one and that will help shape the direction you go. Imgur and other photo sharing sites are great to use, but even if you can post one pic of your kit here, some of us will be able to probably spot some of the tells we've come to learn and give you some initial guidance. Good luck - you'll be trooping in no time and you'll have a great sense of satisfaction once it's all done and approved.
  2. I do the same. Tried a few different tubs, but all had different drawbacks and killed my back when pushing/pulling/dragging across different terrains. I ended up using a suitcase and I have a motorcycle helmet backpack (off amazon) that stores everything else.
  3. Great job, Trooper!
  4. Donated. Thanks for all your hard work 🙌🏽 3W78643264350770J
  5. Welcome Jonathan, I look forward to seeing your progress with your two kits! Be sure to ask any questions you have.
  6. Welcome Andy! I look forward to seeing your progress. As said above, please reach out with any questions - there's so much knowledge on these boards, so don't hesitate to ask for any help you need - it's such a helpful community!
  7. Awesome video, John! I'm just about to start building a second set and this was such a good memory refresher of what to do (and what I shouldn't have done the first time around!). Keep 'em coming!
  8. Congratulations @Stardust665 - Following this application has convinced me to do a Hero build too! Great looking armour.
  9. Congratulations Chris! Well done and thanks for everything you do
  10. Looking great - well done on the build! My only recommendation would be to trim down the screws inside your helmet that are holding your lens / ears. It's not essential, but just from a safety perspective if you happen to fall or cop a knock to the head. If you do trim them, I'd remove them from the helmet first then cut down. I've heard using a Dremel to cut them down can transfer heat through the screw into the plastic, so best to avoid. It looks like you're well on your way to not only approval, but also on the right path for EIB and Centurion if you want to go down that path!
  11. Welcome Andy! I look forward to seeing your progress.
  12. Welcome Andreas. Looking awesome already. As others have stated, start your own build thread and you'll get all the guidance you need. Looks like you're very close, but feel free to ask any questions and we might have a few tricks we can share.
  13. Oh terrific. I'm sitting in Sydney as we speak, but Melbourne based. SCG is a great group. I trooped with them a few months ago - super helpful, so be sure to jump on their forums too and they'll be able to help.
  14. Hi Jay, what part of Australia are you in? I'm Melbourne based, but there's a few of us in each state who would be happy to help or point you in the right direction for supplies, etc.
  15. Welcome, Alex! You'll find plenty of great resources and help around. What costume have you got planned to start with?
