Here's how they look now. I just used a black sharpie to color over the white stitching.

After about 3 lightly brushed coats on the stencil. The last coat maybe was 4 hours later I slowly peeled away stencil. came out perfect.

I'm thinking if you go the battlefront shadow trooper route maybe. Not 100% positive on that. Like they said go on over to spec ops website forums they would know for sure.

Touched up shoulder bells and brought up my forearms a bit higher I felt they were to low to hand guards. Will drop pic next time I suit up.

HAHA. Making good progress. It took me about 3 months to finish mine. I started from scratch absolutely no tools or anything. You can check out my thread as well for this kit. There's lots of pointers and tips there.

Clamps I have a ton of already, so hopefully I am good there. A have a dremel somewhere in the garage. Sounds like its time to dig it out and see if I have a sanding drum attachment.
Definitely feel like I am going to be asking a ton of questions as I start. Intimidated and excited by the first build.
Yes lots of sanding drums. magnets clamps e6000 glue. Then when your ready for putting it all together lots of line 24 snaps. (if you go the snap route)

Make sure when you order your boots you get maybe 2 sizes bigger. Because I made that mistake and they were too tight. I had to re sell them and purchase another pair.

Glad it helped.
After continuous paint chipping off the kidney rivets I finally took a sharpie to those as well however, on aluminum it looks a bit blue so paint is preferred.
Yea I only sharpie on the strips because I do a light sand on each side of cover strip to get rid of those little lines. After both sides are complete I will then sharpie inside return edges.

Each bicep fits well and first sides of strips applied. I used your sharpie trick also @ukswrath

Needed to take a little more off. I use this simple technique to keep it straight. And just go at it full blast with my dremel. Little bit at a time.

Looking good David
Man makes me want to redo my whole TK. This one is going to be way more comfortable and better fitting.

1st test fitting of biceps. Need to take a little more off the back arm. And get rid of a little more return edge.
