Is is just me, or do the tube stripes look rather odd?
To me, they are smaller than the ones I usual see...

Many thanks to Sonneshein for the latex gloves/handguards that made this possible (my TE2 ones are lost somewhere) - they look awesome
Glad you like them! It really makes me proud to see them on a happy ANH trooper.
Please, post more pics!

Just to make sure, these aren't painted, right? The color goes all the way through on the latex and non-latex varieties? I'd rather not have to repaint them after every troop. Just me being lazy, I guess.
Nope, they non-latex aren't painted.
If you prefered latex, it can be dyed black easily. (The WHITE latex versions are painted for screen accuracy, though)
So, no, no need to repaint. Never

those plates are nice enough... I'd rather go with a more accurate form.
What do you mean? Both standard and hero style are accurate

usually a latex base and or silicon kinda substance like http://forum.whitearmor.net/index.php?showtopic=8021
Thanks for pointing it out, Mariannie
Yes, I make latex and non-latex versions. The originals were made out of latex, painted white.
While screen accuracy would not apply to a TX, they are more comfortable to wear.
And you'd be the "first" TX to have them....

I could make you flexible hand plates...

Much depends on the thickness and quality of the pulls for HIPS. I just came back from taking my TE2 (which is HIPS) to China from Seattle, trooping the Great Wall, etc. w/no issues of any kind, and I wasn't too kind to the armor either
IIRC, PT took some pics on THAT kind of Star Wars blanket...

I'm glad THIS thread is clear from agents from the country of propdenistan...

Several member asked me, if the gloves alone were available.
Well, they are, but shipping and the current exchange rate make the a little pricey.
But hey, those are THE most accurate you can find. The have the correct checkered pattern on the palm and an the "finger nails"
Anyway, here's the "bad news"
1 pair is $35 shipped world wide
2 pairs are $53.50 shipped
Following sizes are available:
8 (L)
9 (XL)
10 (XXL)
This pic should help determining your glove size
Thanks for looking!

Shameless plug: Why don't go the full nine yards? Get some flexible (non-)latex hand guards with your gloves flexible hand guards

In Germany we cant order a TE or some other Armor from USA.
And why can't you?
In Austria (your very next neighbour) it is quite possible.

I'm so busy making those hand guards, I totally forget about this thread....
Thank you for all these kind words. Glad you like them

Due to a recent discovery by TK4205 we pretty nailed to material for the ANH belts.
Were they re-used (and bleached) for ESB? Or were they made out of canvas?
Please enlighten me!

tkrestonva said:Are you looking for screen-accurate or non-screen accurate? There's at least one tutorial here on how to make stylized white TK binders, and I recall seeing a seller on eBay some time ago.
Either way, here's a link:

okay, it's a go.
Since it's required for EIB, every PVC/resin builder and hasbro modder should get one!
Thanks!

I just found several black metal d-rings in the workshop of my fiance's late father.
They have almost the exact dimennsions as an SMG D-ring, but the diameter of the wire is about 0.75mm (0,03") smaller, so it appears a little thinner.
Would there be some intersted? Any price suggestions? So about 6$ shipped?
I'll post pics soon. (If there's interest).
Edit: here is a pic. I have about 20 of them. Don't have a clue what they were intented for.
If no one wants them, I'll make myself a nice d-ring necklace..
