This is my mod of The Black series helmet. I started by pulling it apart. Then I removed all the excess plastic and electronics from the back. And here is all the stuff I removed from the front. I then glued the rank bars that were being used as an on/off switch for the voice changer back on. I also added screen mesh to the frown. I can't Bondo the battery pack seam and speaker grill. It's too cold to do it outside. Does anyone know of another option? Would wood filler work? I am also on the fence about cutting out the tube stripes. I know it would make it look better, but I don't want to accidentally mess up my helmet. I'll continue to post on my progress. Thank you!

Hi all! I just wanted to show off the progress on my EVA foam Rogue One TK build. This is all I have so far. I am using a Black series helmet. I do have a EVA foam helmet, but it looks more like a OT helmet than a RO. This is my chest plate. It's made out of 8 pieces of EVA foam, not counting the shoulder tabs. I filled in all the seams with wood filler, then coated it in Kwik Seal to keep it from cracking. The back of the plate is coated in paper mache to keep it rigid. This is the back of the shoulder tabs. Sorry for the blurry pic. Note the slits for the shoulder straps to insert. This is the back plate. I made sure to add the indent on the top of the box. I will be adding the shoulder tabs and the hole in the right top corner soon. Here is the ab/kidney plate. I still need to add a few more details. I need to make the cover plate in the back too. I've heard a lot of different theories for the final movie. Some people are saying that Thrawn is going to be in it. Though I don't know how they could do it. It wouldn't be true to his character to have him be beaten in one movie.

I know I'm really late to the party, but I just wanted to put my two cents in. I'm a big Legends guy, so having the First Order (Isn't it the second order?) Instead of the Imperial Remnant has always been a let down for me. I also don't like that Han and Leia didn't have Jaina, Jason, and Anakin. And had Ben instead. Didn't Han not like Obi-wan? Why would they name their son after him? All right. Let's get to The Last Jedi. I liked: The duel with the Praetorian guards. The clever way Kylo Ren killed Snoke. The ship going into hyperspace through the First Order fleet. I thought that the cinematography was excellent! very artistically done. I did not like: Most everything else. There were a few changes that I thought would have made the movie a lot better. I feel like they should have had Leia fly the cruiser into the First Order fleet. It would have been a lot more emotional than having some random character who just showed up in the same movie do it. I think that Finn should have died, instead of having Rose save him. It would have made the situation feel more desparete. They should have gotten rid of the holding scene with Hux. It made the scene seem too lighthearted.

I am 6 foot 3, 180 pounds, long legs and arms, long torso. Slim, standard build. I am 38 inches at the navel.

Thanks! I looked at a build thread for the doopydoo's blaster kit. It seemed like there were a lot of large areas that needed to be ground down, and small spots that needed to be filled in.

Can anyone suggest an affordable E-11 that is, or can be made eligible for EIB and Centurion?

Yeah, I noticed the odd elastic shape. I wasn't sure if it would be a problem for EIB and Centurion or not. I just thought I'd ask. They were cheaper than most of the boots on Amazon. Any within my price range either had brown soles, stitching on the front, or non-flat soles.

I'm around 6'3" and I'm considering an ATA kit. I know the original suits where made for guys around 5'11''. Will the ATA kit work for a person of my height?

I looked at some pictures of the originals. I looks like paint on the elastic. Should I paint it with the same paint that I use on the rest of the boot?

Do you have to replace the brown elastic with white? or do you paint it too?

I'm wanting to get a pair of Chelsea boots off of Amazon, then paint them white with leather paint like the originals. I'm a bit of a DIY guy Should I just get the pair that looks the most like the one pictured in the CRL?
