  1. Painting has commenced. I really suck at/hate painting.... Anything else I should do to these?
  2. Spent some more time on the ears trying to get the gaps a little closer. Drilled holes for ukswrath’s Hovi tip speakers, and installed tube stripes. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Bucket together with ears now. Time for Hovi tips and paint! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Hyperfirm Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Happy to report that my T-nut lens mount fix worked! I can finally move forward with a few days at home. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Neck seal, holster, and blaster came in! Woohoo!!! Pew pew!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Thanks! I definitely will Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Yeah they are slightly different. I could maybe get a little more off the left one. I was trying to follow the curvature as I’m pretty nervous about dang near every step of this process. I’ll try to hit it again when I get back in town. Thanks for the feedback! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Here’s the bucket riveted together. Also, there’s a clamp through an eye as apparently I had too much tension bending the lens and one T-nut broke free. Cleared the area & glued another nut. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Thanks y’all! Seems like a fairly common struggle as the 2 pieces look just different enough to cause confusion. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Thank you! After looking at the forums for shoulder bells I’m still a bit unsure of which is which. I don’t see much of a defined “swoop”. But my best guess would be from the pic I posted, that on left is left & on right is right. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. I have. Repeatedly actually! Ha! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. So... I need some help telling my lefts from rights on my shins and shoulder bells... HELP! LoL I took my best shot on the shins Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. I Didn’t even think about the potential of the brow to curve up! Thank you!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Does this look right to y’all? Mid-brow? Lined up right? And the humongous gaps on the sides? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Congratulations!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. I only used the sugru putty for a little extra hold on the T-nuts and to give it possibly a cleaner look after doing a few coats of Plasti-dip. The T-nuts will be the only attachment points for my lenses. When I fit and cut my lenses there wasn’t a ton of gap. It won’t be noticeable. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Also, I didn’t mention this earlier in the post, but I’m wanting to build to centurion specs right out of the gate. So if anyone sees anything on my build that would be questionable or not right, please let me know. There’s so much good information on these forums, it can be a little overwhelming at times! I sincerely appreciate all of your experiences and feedback! Keep it coming! [emoji41] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Gotcha. Thanks man! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Any tips, tricks, suggestions for painting on plasti-dip? I did the first coat on the cap/back with a foam brush and it looks horrible. Should I use a regular paintbrush or something else? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. I do have plans for the fans, but I still don’t want it airtight. I was thinking of using the sugru more for making a cleaner look with a “lip”. And then plasti-dip it all. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Dude! Your build is looking great! And that DLT-19 and E-11 are sick!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Not trying to move too fast. I travel for work, and just happen to have about a week and a half off so I’m getting done what I can while I can. LoL yeah, I’ve seen sugru used more than most anything else in these forums, so there must be a good reason for it. So I’ll just wait for the sugru to arrive. Thanks!
  24. That’s a great idea! Thanks for the tip!
  25. Hand guards glued to gloves and T-nuts glued in for lens mount. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
