  1. I’m pretty sure, by at least 1/2”. I’ll have to post pics with the thigh on this coming weekend. Traveling all the time for work is lame-o! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. I was hoping I wouldn’t have to do this; but it looks like I’m gonna have to trim some length from the thighs. I know to trim from the top, but does anyone have any tips or tricks to make this easier? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. This is the best I can do for you right now. I’m out of state on business. Hope it helps. did they pre- bend yours? I had to do some more bending and cut more off the length of it Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Shoulder bridges glued and working on some strapping. Going for the double snap method. Should be finishing up soon! Back to NJ for the work week, hopefully get finished up this coming weekend. Debut at superCon would be sweet, but I don’t wanna rush it now. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. So with the AM 2.0 kit there’s these big flares on the bottom of the back piece. Is it ok to trim it down as I have marked below? Or is it something I should heat shape? Seems like a bit much to heat shape IMO. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. This whole work thing is really interfering with my build. Lame... LoL But I’ve got a few things done. Popped off the smaller ab button plate, trimmed it up some more and reattached. I cut my forearms and biceps and have inner support strips drying as I type. Ammo/battery belt attached to bottom of thigh. Just need to paint the rivets. Also attached holster to the belt and glued rivet covers on. Also been working on my helmet electronics. might try to get the ab rivets and snap done tomorrow. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Yeah, I think it’s slightly crooked too. I’ll have to pop it off and trim when I get home for the weekend. Thanks! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. So fellow builders, what are the pros and cons of nylon vs. elastic for strapping. What have been your experiences? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Also got the knee plate and final cover strips on thighs done today. That’ll be about all as I head to NJ for the week for work. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Belt connections made and cod to butt connections complete. Good to know that I can get rid of that butt tab later on if needed for comfort. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. So this is how I ended up for the butt as overall I felt above the ridge line would be too high for the snaps even though I’ve seen it both ways. So about return edge on the butt; I feel like I have plenty of “beef” on my own backside LoL. Are my pencil marks at a good place to trim the return? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Trying to get a bit done while I’m home for the weekend. Question about the butt plate: do I cut at the line and place snaps above, or leave the bottom section and place snaps below? The bottom tab does make things a bit uncomfortable, but I will at least round it off. Seems that if I cut the tab off completely that the snaps might be too high? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  15. Darman on FISD for holster and neck seal. Hyperfirm for the blaster. Quality stuff! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Got the back strips drying. Don’t know if I’ll get anything else done today, but at least these legs are close to being wrapped up! And my wife and son got me these sweet stools for the garage for Father’s Day! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. After a lot of procrastination, re-fitting, & second guessing. I finally made myself make a cut on one of my shins before turning in for the night. Might get a chance to cut the other shin and thighs tomorrow. Going to be a handler for a troop tomorrow afternoon so I’ll get a little insight into trooping. Should be fun! 21. I actually just finished that on my AM 2.0 last night. I sanded it down to flush. (Not to where it sits down inside.) rounded corners on the bigger plate and flush, squared corners on the smaller plate. But I’m also just a noob. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Sweet! Thanks man![emoji106][emoji106] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Should this cut come down further or be more of a curve than I currently have it? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
