  1. Thanks, everyone! Still have a lot of work to do to reach Centurion but it looks like nothing I can't handle!
  2. Pics as requested. Sorry for the delay, had other obligations to attend to. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  3. Thanks for the input! I will get to work on those issues. I can't believe I forgot to post the full back shot!! EDIT: I think I also uploaded the bad pic of the biceps. I think in the one I posted, the right bicep had slipped out from the elastic band and that is why it looks crooked. My sweet husband has been taking pics for me and doesn't really know what to look for, and it looks like I missed that as I was browsing through those hard-to-see photo thumbnails.
  4. Okay here we go....I'm nervous as heck but finally ready to submit my application for EIB. Name: Nicole Anderton TKID: 42715 FISD Username: FodiChan Garrison: Timberline Height: 5'6 Armor Maker: ATA Blaster: DoopyDoos Boots: TK Boots Belt: DIY Hand plates: justjoseph63 Neck Seal: DIY Holster: DarmansProps I'm not sure on the length of the shoulder bridges. My GML said I could leave them or trim them, so I'm leaving them until told otherwise. A bit unconventional connection for the neck seal- it is attached with elastic so that there is give when I bend my neck. I found that when I had that extra stretch it cut down on anxiety and claustrophobia.
  5. The stiffness of the tabs will help line up everything better and hold it in place, especially when the belt is worn. I used a hot water bath on my sides as well to get them to line up better. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  6. I had the same problem. I ended up using q tab system and it holds things in place really nicely. You can check out some example pics people posted in my build thread: https://r.tapatalk.com/shareLink?url=https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/44137-fodichans-56-female-ata-works-centurionhopefully-build/&share_tid=44137&share_fid=44557&share_type=t Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  7. I took off more than that but that was after I fully finished the bucket. I think I had about what you did when I first put mine together. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

Got my Riot Control coin in the mail today. Thanks so much, it looks great! My girl will love the coloring book too, after she is done with mandatory quiet time! Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

My TK was mostly assembled on my craft room floor so it took no time at all. I was thinking I should put it away a few days ago but now I'm glad I left it out! Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

That is so kind of you! She loves it when I get suited up and begs to wear my bucket. I find her love of Stormtroopers and Darth Vader ironic because she is named after a certain Rebel princess Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

Hehe....being a stay at home mom has its perks I took more cuz I felt the first one was hard to see, and I can't get my 2 year old to take reliable shots... Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

  15. Thanks! What kit did you order? I found I had to make very little size adjustments with ATA armor. I took maybe 1/4 inch off each side of the kidney and ab and slimmed down the cod a bit. Everything else was assembled *as is* and torso pieces shaped with a hot water bath. If I took a close up of my ab you would see that there are inches of space between my body and the armor, but when it gets worn it looks proportionate and I don't feel super claustrophobic. There is some padding in the forearms and the thighs to get them to stay put. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  16. I just got assigned my number! I am TK-42715! Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  17. I got my number!!!!!!!! TK-42715 Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  18. My GML approved my TK, and now I am just waiting for my number! Fixed the issue with the forearms and struggled to come up with action shots while my blaster is unpainted. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  19. I repositioned the forearms; glue is setting right now! Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  20. Ah I didn't even notice that! That would be rogue neck seal fabric. I have an undershirt with a high collar so I can't tuck it in. I'll have to do some tweaking. Thanks! Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  21. Thanks for the advice about the forearms. I was having a hard time with their placement. I'll rotate those a bit. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

  23. My build is near completion. I have been feeling pretty crummy the past couple weeks so I've been taking things more slowly. Last night I made a to-do list of everything that needs to be finished and I completed it this afternoon. I'll suit up for some pics when my husband gets home. I think I'm about ready to submit for basic. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  24. All right....so I have a few thoughts about this. I feel that the shoulder bells are not fitting properly. Should I take a bit off the body side or just leave it? I was thinking of shortening the bell to shoulder strap as well. I haven't padded everything yet but is moving around really this noisy? Haha. The sniper knee wants to catch behind the thigh. Would padding in the shin fix this or should I try something else? I feel I should trim a little bit in the back of the shims to assist with movement, especially since I am below the average trooper height. I didn't try stairs with this but I'll take any added mobility. The tab system is working well. I just need to push the left kidney down a hair to get those rivets to line up properly. Any thoughts or suggestions at this point? Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
