  1. Congrats! However, for EIB and Centurion I think you are going to have to glue a new button plate: you trimmed them to much and you are left with no lip. It should actually look like this (see left). I know cuz I made the same mistake and had to correct it.
  2. Now imaging having OCD and building this thing lol. In the end I had to let go and understand that nothing was gonna match perfectly, be symmetric, or have straight lines. [emoji6] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  4. Lol. That’s Red’s favorite carpet too! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Nice of you Steven to say so. If the armor looks good, it’s only because of your guidance Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Next time we troop let me know if you need anything...I got a bunch of stuff you might need to put your stormy together, from frown screen to tandy snaps, and more
  7. Basic Information Name: Alberto Oscarelli FISD forum name: Albaz 501st Member Page: http://www.501st.com/members/displaymemberdetails.php?userID=24123 501st ID: TK-20055 Garrison: Empire City Garrison (NYC-US) Mandatory Information Armor Maker = AP Helmet Maker = AP Blaster Type = Hyperfirm E-11 EIB application/approval: Optional Information Height = 6'1" Weight = 173 pounds Boots Maker = TK Boots Canvas belt = AP Hand Plates Type = TrooperBay Electronics = iComm + AKER Neck Seal Type = DarmanProps Holster Maker = TrooperBay Corrections (belt, lens, drop box, and forearm) - Added a second layer of acetate lens, moved belt 1/2 up, and glued straps of drop boxes to belt to maintain alignment. I tried to move the forearm down as much as I can. Unfortunately I have long arms and this is the best I can do. also...I had to take the pics on my own, so every time I would get in position they would slide up a little since I had to bend my arms to reset the armor ;-P
  8. Cancel the order. If they dont give you a refund (since their customer service sucks it might take them months to process it) file a chargeback with the credit card company. I am sure they will postpone shipping again...so you are better off with a different vendor
  9. Thanks Dave. I'll see you this weekend at the Philharmonic concert
  10. 1. ALBERTO 2. OSCARELLI 3. TK-20055 EIB 4. Letter Size 5. Tony Thanks! No worries! http://www.whitearmor.net/eib/certificates/20055-eib.png
  11. YAY! Thanks! The "lens" issue came up this weekend, so I have bought a thicker lens. Hopefully that doesn't prevent me from applying for Centurion. I think the drop box is not aligned just because I had to take my own pics, and they bounce around when running back and forth form the camera. Maybe I should set a longer timer so I have time to get everything back in place LMAO. I'll submit for Centurion soon. THANK YOU! Once again thank you for the approval!
  12. I am using the screen accurate green acetate for my lenses, but people keep telling me they can see my eyes. I wanna keep he acetate because I am applying for centurion in a few...so I wonder how I can get the issue resolved. Wearing shades is not an option since I can't get into my helmet once I wear them (tried last night) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Did you take your pics under the rain? Damn that's commitment! Good luck on your approval Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Could be. Also, not sure if you did...but try and use some sandpaper on the handguard itself, that will allow the glue to stick better to it Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Oh yeah i cut my finger on the sharp corners so I sanded them down a little [emoji6] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Thanks! And yes...I wonder who sold me that blaster... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
