  1. I see what you are saying, thanks for the visual aid [emoji106]. Will get back at it. Great thread by the way. Sent from my Pixel 7 Pro using Tapatalk
  2. Not sure what that means. My concern is that big gap at the bottom of the ear piece. I've looked at that tread, wish I had prior to starting the trimming of the piece Sent from my Pixel 7 Pro using Tapatalk
  3. Not sure if this is beyond fixing at this point. Or do I need to work on a new piece? Sent from my Pixel 7 Pro using Tapatalk
  4. How's this look before I drill it in? Sent from my Pixel 7 Pro using Tapatalk
  5. Is riveting preferred for screws? Sent from my Pixel 7 Pro using Tapatalk
  6. Thanks for the feedback. Not happy that I need to adjust, but saw it coming when I noticed the gap at the bottom. Any tips on how to best to fill the soon to be unused screw holes? I was thinking dry wall spackle. Sent from my Pixel 7 Pro using Tapatalk
  7. Lowered brow. I took pics of the side and realized that the left is further away from the eyes than the right. Guessing I need to adjust? Sent from my Pixel 7 Pro using Tapatalk
  8. Brow height good? I want to lock it in if it's good Sent from my Pixel 7 Pro using Tapatalk
  9. Looking to get some feedback on the stripes. I used some templates, not sure if I need to redo, touchup or if it is a good hand painted look? Sent from my Pixel 7 Pro using Tapatalk
  10. Looking to re-purchase the boots from Imperial Boots. Noticed they have a neck seal, does anyone know about the quality of it compared to Trooper Bay?
  11. Thats great Caleb, much appreciated. I'll pull up your thread.
  12. Looking to find an accurate template for the helmet paint. I was on trooper bay and they suggested "Dave M" decals. I would like to have actual paint though. Can someone recommend which templates would be accurate for an ATA helmet?
  13. Thank you, posted. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  14. I don't seem to have access to the sales pages here, will try the local garrison. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  15. Your right, they do look great. I read to size up, but got confused with the European sizing. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  16. Bought some Imperial Boots last Sept, should have tried them on. Just did try them and they are a bit small for me. Agree, half a size bigger, maybe full size, would have been better. Is there a place to try to sell these to someone who would want this size (43)? They look great and have gotten no use outside of trying them on. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  17. Ordered some of the shoes from imperial boots and they are slightly small. Is it common to sell them to someone else on these boards? I only tried them on, no no actual use. I bought them about a year ago, and just now tried them on...not my smartest moment. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  18. Like 2 minutes sooner [emoji24] Just cut in to the back of the ridge Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  19. Thanks, so what I marked up looks fine? Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  20. Fitting the thighs and have very little leg bend available. Was looking to trim the tip portions when I came across that it is preferred to notch the backs of them. Below is a markup of what I was thinking. Basically cutting out the returns on the back portion. Sound right? Thanks Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  21. Old thread, but hoping somebody can help. Very novice at sewing...got a heavy duty needle and thread, but the thread bunches up on the bottom of the sew attempt...any ideas?
  22. Finally got the boots! Taking a look to trim the shins now. About how far up the leg should they be? Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  23. Thanks for the advise all. Just looked into buying the boots and ImperialBoots.com is shut down until Aug. So I'll see about working on other parts till then.
  24. Good to know, gotta buy those still. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
