Then, add paint
Well... maybe a bit of touch up will help, but I'm not sure about the tube stripes
Perhaps I should remove and repaint..?Hi fellow Swedish trooper here....I would repaint and check out Crickets RS build on some great advice in doing the painting

Looking good! and very organized

Made this the other day for my Shadow and have extra pieces to make one for the Hero "yeey"
...made a support-pole for my plastic "mannequinn" using a 30lbs plate, wall mounted door stop, scrap abs, double sided tape, aluminum rods and some soft velcro and printed a Cog and laminated it.
Added som duct tape to make a snug fit
Put it tohether and then added the scrap plastic using double sided tape with soft velcro underneath to make it more steady and easy on the floors. Ended up putting some soft stuff on the door stop as well and it worked out pretty good.
Drilled a hole.....see were to drill?
Ready to get dressed...sorry for all the black and I forgot the helmet at home (removed the "feet" as they are no longer needed for support and as a bonus it makes dressing easier).
It will be better when I get some stuffing the keep everything lined up properly...instead of wrapping myself in duct tape I will use an inflatable mannequinn and stuff it with pillow cushioning since it won`t be inflated for obvious reasons

The box:
Started with some plastic, made a 4x4 inch plate (perhaps it`s too big?)
Cutting the sides
Glueing it together
Using the glue as a reference for size and cut the backplate down afterwards and the strip will become
the holder for the hook.
added some strips for support and for the glue to have more to hold on to and gave the strip a bath and bent it in shape.
That`s the progress thus far, any suggestions would be very much appreciated

Let`s see if this work....this is my ANOVOS shadow....
...it worked, great!
So..this was my first attempt on the comlink...
...wasn`t happy with it so here`s the second version...approvable?
-
Thanks me too and as I don`t have Jedi-patience the armor can`t arrive soon enough It´s a good thing I can work on the other stuff in the meantime

Greetings exalted ones
TX 99665 turning to the White Side after spending some time in the Shadows
I orderd my TM Hero-kit (1.5mm) about a week ago and really look forward to another build, as many of you states, it`s really addictive! This build will be "all-out" meaning screen-used strapping method, grappling hook and comlink and I really hope I can make it look like it`s from the movie #fingers#crossed.
I like to make stuff so I have started with the comlink and gappling box (pics to follow) ordered the hook itself (can`t make that one) from blockaderunner and hopefully it will arrive soon. The switch and rectractable wire is also en route.
The armor itself looks truly amazing and I hope I can make it justice!
And on a final note: I look forward to interact with you guys since that is a big part of the fun in doing a build
On to the pics (as soon as I figure out best way to upload that is)

I second the inputs and would like to suggest that you ad chims to the biceps and abs-paste the seem, sand and polish it out and then you can have the correct width on the cover strips. Or..ask for a new set of biceps as well and be careful when cutting it. Drop boxes would also look much better if the inner box is flush with outer. Keep it up

Looking good, keep it up

A little bit of progress has been made I think, ... or as yoda would say
Made progress think I ....
Ok maybe not lol
Well I've been trying to mould the kidney and butt to fit my torso, I've also tweaked the greave, made it shorter like you suggested and this is the result, oh I've also decided to Tetris the thigh to make it narrower at the top, I've not cut it yet but you will get the general idea. I'm still not happy within the non vertical rear cover strip to the greave
I have started making the magnetic closures for the greaves, I have cut 20mm cover strips which will hold the magnets on the inside , this will comprise of two cover strips, one at the back, the other with holes cut out of it to fit the 15mm diameter 2mm thick magnets
Cover strips cut, six magnets in place
Doing a test hole on a scrap piece of ABS, couldn't get a 15mm drill bit so had to make do with a 14mm bit and make it wider
Using the dremel , how on earth did I manage to do stuff before I got one of these?
What it will look like when finished
Went to see the Childe of Hale today, I'm stood nest to a life size statue of him, yes I'm small but please bear in mind he was 9ft 3ins
Good work on your build and you got talented people helping you Been lurking in the shadows enjoying reading your build, after all I am a shadow trooper (at the moment) But anyways....it could be the angel of the photo (first in this post) but it looks like your butt and kidney should be further up making little to no gap between back an kidney so make sure these line up properly before you trim to much of your thighs and...funny picture and I think you should take another one with finished armor trying to arrest the statue

Am I blind, or did the "Getting Started section", and the "New member Introductions" threads disappear?
I also tried to click on the"Supply list for your TK build" thread and was again told I do not have permission to view it. This my thread!
I must be blind also

Wow! That`s impressive...most impressive

This is way too valuable to not pin. Pinned!!
I totally agree! And if I may make a suggestion Sir this thread should also get pinned -crickets-rs-stunt-build-for-the-vertically-challenged
Sorry for the interruption Mandy - keep up your excellent work

Thanks for that vote of confidence, Daniel! I sure hope that I've been able to help others who want to wear the white armor, but thought they were too short to pull it off. Never too short to be a stormtrooper!
I´m sure you have and I`m really surprised it`s not pinned already and that`s not me trying to sweet-talk you I hade read many builds and this one more than deserves to be pinned!
Oh, hell yeah!!!!! Love it!
And...great! because I wont take no for an anwser!!!

This thread should be pinned! As I stated earlier there are some great advises here, both from you (obviously) and others that will help many builders in sizing and building their armor

And on a sidenote, sorry for hijacking your thread but do I qualify for your next Hallloween?

<img src="http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d1/dannemelin/IMG_20170625_190949_zpsyvtile56.jpg"alt="IMG_20170625_190949_zpsyvtile56.jpg">
And you did absolutely right in doing so, for me that`s the fun in building, you try something and see how it goes and if your not happy with the result, redo
and I say use the templates but not a brush, in her build she uses a sponge and it looks super-easy and super-clean! My TX came with a ready-made helmet but I´m going to use her tip on my Hero-kit and there are many other great building advises, tips and tricks from her and others that really makes it worth while to read it and she also has the tread divided into chapters which makes it easy to navigate to what your interested in for the moment, the shin closure for example is a work of art..so...you won`t regret it
