Arms strapped in...on to next mission, thermal detonator
- 1
-
And forarms.. some clean-up and then glue the elastic and put the arms together....but that's for tomorrow
- 2
-
Thigh-elastic, ammo belt and sniperknee fitted
-
Thighs sized up, ready for assembly
Did a test fit and shoulder-straps do need to be shortened...
Blooper
Notice the flex of the left shoulder-bell
and...though not Luke I seem to be dreaming of a princess...

-
And now the shins are done, tomorrow it's thighs
-
And then I glued in the bridges and elastic for the shoulders, didn't suit up for that but here he is guarding my office

-
The undersuit did help with the gap and I also shortened the strap for the "Han-snap "woop woop"
And the holster is in place.

And just to be clear..I´m still an anonymous stormtrooper BEFORE those rebel-scum killed me , without leaving a mark on my armor I might ad, I find it hard to belive they managed to sneak up and shoot me in the armpit area..oh well..this is the time before that - Long Live The Empire

A Hero emerges...
Eventually...

Awesome stuff! Man this thing is coming along nicely! Glad to see you going for centurion. Keep it up!
Sent from my iPhone using TapatalkThanks and I'll do my best...the painting was not an easy task, much more time-consuming than I thought but slow and steady wins the race I'we heard
-
Time to try som paint and I got Han keeping an eye on everything
-
Well..some pieces move along in relative speed and others, like the helmet, is taking forever...took several hours and to many drillholes to line it up than I would like to admit but thanks and who knows, we might just be TK:s roughly the same time

Looks great! Keep it up and it`s not a race...easy so say but sometimes hard to live by, for me anyway when it comes to armor, lika a kid who just can`t keep my hands of...even when I probably should

Been rough-trimming the eyes and teeth...used an exacto and went super-slow so nothing else has been done today. Some clean-up tomorrow and hopefully got time to put it together...and...I taped it up real quick before nap-time and voila...an almost Hero-helmet

Thanks but I don't need to make any alterations (unlike you know who Still impressed ) and the strapping is already made by TM so all that is left is just to cut som plastic
-
And now the ab-buttons are glued on *happy happy happy

Just straped the torso together and coulden`t resist this foto-op...so..here goes..
(read it singing for effect) I´m half a stormtrooper yes I am
Left side looks fine (Centurion in mind)
Right side indicates a diet coming my way...or...buy a new undersuit size XS and hope for the best kidding aside, having the undersuit on just might make it better, we`ll see #fingers#crossed
and just to make you jump..TROOPER-SELFIE....

The brow is so close I really think the ears will take up the slack.
1 hour ago, troopermaster said:The brow is fine. Just make sure you cut the ends square and not on an angle to follow the trapezoids.
Gotcha! Thanks I appreciates it

I like the Hero helmet. Yours is really coming together nicely. Beautiful work!
Thank you Sir It`s even more beautiful in person, truly a work of art, both by the original sculpter and in this case TM
and...you don`t Think I should replace the brow?
-
That`s a good point, especially since the forearms are connected to the biceps by default....it`s just a long-shot but perhaps it`s because they mainly kept the elbows bent holding the blaster

Bicep tape. One strip of tape over the bicep strap and another piece of tape across the first piece securing it to the bicep.
And here`s me thinking that was some sort of on-set repair...do you think that it was intentional or for that specific trooper...problem with sliding/twisting bicep etc?..and why not tape the "securing-tejp" on the inside...just playing 20 questions here..it`s really fun to discover new things in Movies you`ve seen soooooo many times....for instance, in the cell block area when they are pind down, in one shot Luke is missing a shoulder bell and in the next it`s back on...just recently caught that
-
Turns out I am a klutz coulden't keep my hands of the helmet and started cutting away, all is well and then there's the brow....cut It to short...measured the inside..doh!!....I know the ears will cover some...can it work or should I get a new one? The ones in the movie aren't perfect but Is this a lost cause....
Beautifull helmet though
