Troop # 6
Date: March 8, 2020
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Event: Arizona Helping Hands Foster Family Fun Day
This was a fun troop where we interacted with the kids and families at the foster family carnival. I attempted to play some games with the kids including giant Connect 4, but its hard to play when I can't see anything or bend over to pick up my pieces! I also had the opportunity to take some fun photos during a bit of down time!

Looks like minimal effort went into those holiday troopers. OT TK with a vibro-axe and a Porg? I love Christmas and Star Wars and the two together have potential but these are not good.
@gmrhodes13 Agreed. Your holiday TK is far better.

Congratulations FISD! This was a very exciting moment to be a part of! It makes me very proud to be an FISD member, Attache, part of the 1000 EI, and member of the 501st Legion. Thank you to everyone who has helped make this moment possible!

Congratulations Sebastian on being #1000! Congratulations to all the DOs and staff for putting in years of selfless work to make this happen! Congratulations to the other 999 EI troopers because without all of you this wouldn't be possible!

Hello Wayne,
Welcome to FISD! I really enjoyed your introduction about how you got here. It's great to see that the piece about the 501st in the Mandalorian doc is inspiring others to become Stormtroopers! I love your excitement and enthusiasm about your build and I look forward to seeing your progress.
Regarding the blaster. I use a DoopyDoos resin blaster and it does get very heavy after trooping for a few hours. I was also considering printing an E-11 for longer troops or troops where there is potential for my blaster to become damaged but I'm concerned that the printed blaster won't be very strong either. The posts above show that may be the case. Another option if you don't want to use a toy blaster is to get a rubber/foam one. However, I'm not sure about the availability of such blasters at the moment.

It's midnight in Oz so I expect we'll hear more when the other parties wake up their tomorrow. As an aside, @GoofTrooper that picture in your avatar is sweet. You did a really nice job on your armor too (looking at your centurion thread).
Thank you for the compliment on my armor, I appreciate it very much! My avatar photo was taken during one of my last troops before lock down started and it's one of my favorites for sure.

We are currently working diligently on # 1000, folks! Because this is a group effort among the entire D.O. staff, the fact that we are in different time zones and have odd schedules it may cause it to take a tiny bit longer than normal. Thanks for bearing with us! We also have a few surprises up our
sleevesforearm pieces...The anticipation is killing me!

That’s the piece of the puzzle I was looking for!!!!
Actually, not really. I still can’t make out the whole picture. Such a tease!
Could that be a Stromtrooper Commander shoulder bell?
