  1. It seems like I'm restricted from some sections. Requesting access TK80509 https://www.501st.com/members/displaymemberdetails.php?userID=25010
  2. The one thing that scared me the most on the bucket build was attaching the two pieces together. I used a lot of masking tape and made sure I had the two pieces lined up how I wanted them and then punched the rivets. Screws would have probably been a better idea. CW
  3. I'll try. I really don't know what happened to my pics. Grrrrrr. Honestly most of the pics of the helmet build are still live on this last page.
  4. I think I saw your post in the facebook group. It's coming along.
  5. Well.......TK80509 reporting for duty! Sorry, my thread got messed up. Anybody that is building a WTF kit and needs help feel free to message me.
  6. I don't know whats happening to my pics
  7. I don't know why my pictures disappear. Anyway. I think I'm going to go ahead and add the bicep straps. My biceps are sagging a little bit. After that...submission photos
  8. Ok. I made it! Got my neckseal just in time. With my wife in her Jawa at Comicpalooza I even participated in the "Meet a Stormtrooper" panel.
  9. Thanks. and I need to order a neck seal from Darman.
  10. Overwhelmed a bit at this point. Two weeks until Comicpalooza and there's a long way to go. I've realized there's a big difference in getting my TK ready for submission and getting it ready to troop in. For submission, I just need to build the thermal detonator and attach the hand plates. Easy enough. but for trooping. I need to pad my helmet and armor. Put in a fan kit, and Icomm. I just don't know if I'm going to make it. Furthermore we go out of town for 5 days in between now and CP.
  11. Finished painting the exterior of my bucket. The lenses are just taped in there I have to figure out a better install.
  12. Ok, Still need to build my Thermal Detonator, Close the back of my calves. Put the hand plates on my gloves, The helmet is far from done. I want to cheesecloth Plastidip the interior and install a fan kit that a buddy is making for me, and there's some painting left to do. The list is getting shorter though. First suit up with my WTF bucket. CW
  13. Went to an armor party over the weekend. I was able to meet some excellent 501st members. They inspired me to punch the rivet into the sides of my helmet. Once that was done I had the guts to work on the ears.
  14. Ok, Yes. I'm still in the Black Series helmet, Honestly, this is why I got it. For tests fits because I always planned to do my helmet build last. I don't know why. I finally started painting it. Walt would be happy. and put the mesh in.
  15. Things are moving along. I changed gears and work a bit more on the E-11. After starting it I had to get some test fits in. I'm getting close. This is the first test fit without any masking tape. I built a garter belt for my thighs. Then I finished the blaster CW
  16. Man David, You blew right by me. Looking great!
  17. I can't wait to see these photo's. Hope to be there next year!
  18. Thanks! I'll have to access the belt issues. Everything is riveted and glued. I'll figure it out somehow. I still haven't built up the guts to tackle the bucket any further than I have. I'm still in the Black Series. Is that a light I see at the end of the tunnel? CW
  19. From behind. Where you can see all the custom masking tape strapping. Everybody was Kung fu fighting CW
  20. After working on the belt a good portion of the day a test fit was in order. The snaps on the ab plate to hold the belt on are about 3mm too far apart and one or the other keeps popping off. I'll need to address that. Still working on the interior strapping. So far the strapping is complete on the arms and shoulders. I've done some between the kidney plate and butt plate. The strapping I really need to get done is between the chest plate and ab plate. The ab/cod keeps falling down. Also need to finish the rear of the shins.
