  1. Picked this up for a fair price yesterday.
  2. Still working on that thigh ammo pack. I've cut the curved edges. I applied some hot water and formed it around a coffee can. It's a little short, but I think it will be ok.
  3. Masking or painters tape. Lots of it. Go ahead and get the contractor pack. I use it to mark my cut lines. Then I run my blade along the edge of the tape.and snap. After carefully sizing of course. Which it's also useful for. You'll go through more than you think. CW
  4. Good luck. I'm currently building a WTF kit. CW
  5. I know. I don't know what got into me hacking off the ends without checking it first. Cap rivets is what I understood were used. CW
  6. Oh yea, I'm going to take the Dremel and sand paper to them this weekend. Thanks, CW
  7. I'm thinking I'll be ok with the ammo pack. .The thighs themselves. I sized them and applied the back cover strip a couple nights ago. CW
  8. I hope I didn't mess up the thigh ammo pack. I may have cut it oo short.
  9. Oh yea, By the way. Walt is pulling me a new set of shins. CW
  10. Thanks for chiming in guys! I appreciate the encouragement. I think I'll be shooting you a PM soon Joseph. CW
  11. The shafts on the snap rivets is too long. I cut a couple down to practice with. How's this look for ab rivets? Painted of course.
  12. Picked up a few things at the leather store/ A 100 pack of double cap rivets. 8mm. the package on the right. A piece of black leather for when I'm ready to start my holster.
  13. Working on the mic tips in the garage. I can't get a good picture.
  14. Beside my Black Series helmet. I like that fact it's a bit smaller. CW
  15. I'm pretty happy with the way it's coming together.
  16. Time to shift gears a bit. I've been dreading the bucket build, but mustarded up some guts today and started work on it. Sometimes I even impress myself with my Dremel work. It was nice to have the black Series helmet as reference. What do you think about those teeth?
  17. My TK boots came in. They are disco-ready. A test fit was in order. Oh yeah... CW
  18. The thighs are coming along. I did the outer strips with E6000 but did the inner strips with 5 minute Epoxy.
  19. I appreciate you chimming in. That and unfortnauntly. the left one is trimmed too short. There's no way it will fit over my boot and close in the back, I'm going to have to get a new set. They weren't assembled by me.
  20. Now. To let these dry for about 48 hours.
  21. This is where we I stand so far. The bucket build has me a little scared. I'm saving that for last.
  22. I'm not sure what to do with these shins. They came partially assembled and that's fine, but the trimming on the back of one of them has me worried. It's way off center with not much to work with.
