Non worries dude. I was in the same boat as you (we all were, I imagine....) but like I've said there's plenty of help. Another piece of advice I received is don't be too self critical of your build. No one looks as hard at your outfit than you do. Enjoy it bud. There's no time restrictions or deadlines. Sent from my SM-G928F using Tapatalk

Just been pointed out to me that the arms are on wrong. I popped the left arm onto the right shoulder and vice versa. So.... just goes to show mistakes are made and advice is always there. It's easily rectified too. Sent from my SM-G928F using Tapatalk

As a non-handy person I had the same fears as you. I can't build something like this. It'll look s*** It's too complicated8 Etc etc. Thing is if you buy a kit from one of the many on offer, there'll be help and guiding advice every step of the way. Have a look at the many WIPs on here to see what I mean. I've not made anything like this before, but I've done it (even if I DID want to quit at one point....) But I didn't. And you won't either. Trust me bud, the sense of achievement is awesome. I'm just waiting for my boots and I'll (hopefully) be ready for clearance. Here's my TK as is...... Be confident dude. If I can do it, I'm sure you can. Sent from my SM-G928F using Tapatalk

Just watched it again. Here's when the siren kicks in and they prepare for the dismount..... Pure chills. Sent from my SM-G928F using Tapatalk

Same here. Perfect use of sound for atmosphere. There's something about that siren because you just know something is going to kick off. Excellent stuff. Sent from my SM-G928F using Tapatalk

Totally fantastic. When the siren started....man....chills. Brilliant work. Sent from my SM-G928F using Tapatalk

My effort so far...... Doopydoos resin kit and 40mm pipe. First time doing this so it's not perfect, but I'm happy with it. Sight, counter and other gubbins to be added when they arrive. Sent from my SM-G928F using Tapatalk

Cheers all for the advice and tips. And thanks T-Jay. I'll check that link out asap. Sent from my SM-G928F using Tapatalk

I know..... it isn't exactly compact.....haha...... But can put it in the boot of my car and the top compartments allow room for armour repair tools (E6000, then.....) and other gubbins. Sent from my SM-G928F using Tapatalk

To me, the blaster is a fragile thing what with bits getting knocked off or damaged so had a thought that when I (eventually) get cleared for trooping, I don't want the blaster rattling around in the car or in a bag. So, in a touch of overthinking (and maybe overkill) I came up with this.......(space for optics and counter will be made when they eventually rock up) Thoughts? Opinions? Cheers all. Well..... here's my effort. It needs tidying up (had a mishap with the E6000.....) and sight, counter etc to attach and paint.

Hello all. I'm doing my first TK build and working on.an E-11 blaster (pipe build with Doopydoos resin parts) It's pretty much done apart from the final coat of paint and lacquer/varnish. The question is : do I leave it as anflat black or do I weather it? And if weathering is the way forward how far is it advisable to go? A light dry brushing of scratches or full on battered bit of kit? Also any advice, tips and tricks anyone can pass on would be brilliant. Thanks in advance. Sent from my SM-G928F using Tapatalk

I have a WIP for my TK armour so would the E11 build go with that or a separate build here? Sent from my SM-G928F using Tapatalk

Cheers. First time doing all this so it's a tad daunting. But I'm finding there are loads of good people, like yourself, willing to offer advice. Much appreciated. Sent from my SM-G928F using Tapatalk

Starting a Doopydoos pipe blaster and have a minor question. On the mag slot it has the Sterling SMG details in it. Shoukd it be left or does it need to be drilled and sanded so it doesn't show? Or is it personal preference? Photo shows what I mean. Sent from my SM-G928F using Tapatalk
