Probably been said, but I've seen a number TKs wear them in rebels, though they are often leading the squadron. I wouldn't be able to say what colours though. Ones I can recall are black, white and red. It could be down to planetary garrisons? Though the 501st don't currently allow it under certain levels of TK or TD, I believe that they should review the rebels TKs (or at least their accessories) because Rebels is part of the official Canon now Oh and pauldrons are pretty awesome

Hello 501st, The other day I was browsing the website, and I saw that the minimum age for joining the 501st was 18. At this current moment, I am 16 years old, but by the time I get my armour from ATA, I'll be 17 (long waiting list). Though I am aware I will be under the minimum age, will it be possible to join the 501st. My main incentive to join was the amount of charity and good I could potentially do and the differences I could make to people's lives. With regards to mics, I have just found the Troop Talk application on android. If I could find decent amplifier will this be suitable? Also, anyone does know how I could mic up my phone instead of using my phones mic (its very cardiod so it captures a little too much, resulting in quite a bit of feedback) ?

My helmet has just been ordered so my armour assembly begins as of right now [emoji16]!! Does anyone know where the cheapest available option for helmet decals are? I've seen £7-£10, but I'm on a tight budget, so, if they can be found any cheaper it'd be very appreciated. Thanks

Oh also I'm in Ipswich so the climate is temperate, but has been known to get a little high at times. Weeell high for British standards. Overall I'm sorta used to high temperatures, being from Egypt and all [emoji12] (40°C+ in summer)

Well I have roughly £380 at the moment, £132 of which is going to be spent on an ATA helmet tonight. I'm a little flexible as I'm not paying till February for my armour, so I have time to save up a little extra, but my first 'troop' is soon, so I'm trying to spend as little as possible till I get my armour. Bear in mind I have yet to get decals, shoes, under garments and neck seal, and of course shipping on top, lol.

Guys, yeeeeah they ain't OT, and I get you, but I've been following the film and the set photos that come with it and people have painstakingly handmade and put these together, isn't that what we do? Moreover, its a war movie, troops are gonna be running and fighting, so I can't blame the designers there. End of the day; Are we getting TKs? Yes. Are we getting Star Wars? Yes. Soooo my first 'Troop' (only wearing the bucket) will be at my upcoming prom (primarily as an end of school gag), but it'll be midsummer at evening, plus it'll be daylight till about 9-10PM in the UK. So I think it may be in line to get some mods, but... I'm still very new to all of this, so what mods (if any) should I consider getting? I'm thinking mics or a fan.
