13. Main adjustment for her was the thigh armor...had to cut about 2 inches off of each and re do the return edges. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
 14. Sorry to take so long to reply, but posting in case others can benefit. What I found it that the armor fit the torso fine, but the legs, particularly the thighs, needed shortened. I ended up cutting about 1.5 inches off the top of the thighs, and then using a Lineman's pliers I slowly and carefully created a new return edge. I originally was going to use the hot iron method, but in practicing on scraps, I was having trouble being consistent. With the pliers, I was able to ensure a constant line and bend. Trick is to not bend too much in one time and to go slow.

 16. Hi! My wife and I are building her a KW Fem TK. She is not even 5ft tall, so some trimming of the armor is needed. Done the helmet and torso already and so far the torso appears ok, but the legs pieces are too long. For both the the thigh and calf pieces, I am thinking of taking an inch or two off. Should I take it off the top or bottom of the pieces? I was thinking bottom for the thigh since at least the front is largely covered by the knee. The calf I am not sure which - the top is somewhat covered by the knee but the bottom may not be as noticeable... Thoughts/ideas? Thanks!
 17. Got a FemTK for her. Will let you know how it goes. Thanks to all!
 18. Thanks so much for this WIP! My wife is 5 foot and really wants to be a TK, so I got her the kit for Christmas. Thanks for being a trailblazer - your technique for shortening the ab/cod piece looks solid and we will likely follow the same path.
 19. Awesome! Will take a look at your WIP. Thanks!
 20. Hello!

My wife is very interested in the Fem TK (Jes) armor, but she is about five foot tall. I was wondering if anyone that height has done a Fem TK?

My clone is a KW designs one, and I know they do Fem TK armor, but I know the size only goes to about 5 4 or so. I am concerned about cutting the armor down too much and losing critical elements.

She wants to be 501st approvable.

Any help or suggestions would be more than welcome!

Thanks!
