  1. Very impressive... Love the lens mounts. Will you keep the hard-hat style rig inside or go with padding?
  2. Great thread, thanks for all the advice... lots to accomplish still for me.. just finished my initial cut outs... Not too many hassles. No cracks or tears.A couple of small, wayward slices during scoring, but not bad enough to see. If anything, it was hard to see the score lines on some pieces. I did find the plastic to be extra thick in a few places and it required heavier snips to help cut some pieces. Only had 2 really thin places that my exacto knife slid all the way through without much effort... Both of those were on the kidney belt piece. Other than that, the plastic seems very durable and flexible. Even when scored it took some effort to break the scrap free. in addition to sandpaper, I will be purchasing a dremel and bits for the final clean-up and fitment. From everything I have read, it seems to be a good investment and a huge help if used correctly and patiently. Onward...
  3. My first thoughts upon unboxing the bucket were that the corners of the frown were not painted into sharp points, and that the eye sockets seemed to be pretty deep. I feel that painting the frown to be pointy on the ends is a simple fix, I am worried a bit about trying to make the sockets shallower... I'll wait to see if someone else gives it a try first and how it looks.
  4. Fantastic build. Thank you for sharing all the tips. Looking forward to building one myself. D
  5. as a first time builder, all the advice I have gotten has been for E6000. As much as I'd like to rush through and get it all done, I am also working on something I have waiting my whole life to build so I want it done right. Thanks for the help. Don
  6. it appears that both IB and TK boots are gearing up for another production run. Is there any specific differences in the boots that would sway you either way? It seems they are both pretty comfortable if you get the right size. Has anyone done a side by side comparison? I believe they are both Centurion level qualified, correct? Thank you for the help, Don
  7. Excellent work on these. I am looking forward to seeing more people wire them into their buckets and seeing the results.
